Supposedly Andy Schleck has been working allot on his TT skills, the way he sits on his bike etc.
I have a feeling Evans won't be able to make up 57 seconds. Frank on the other hand is toast.

We'll have to see how much Andy still has in the tank. He's had two very tough days in a row, and isn't a great time trialist to begin with. It's going to be a close finish. Evans has a lot of ground to make-up and he hasn't had a walk in the park the past two days either. He has shown his patience however, and it has payed off. He is now within striking distance.

Hopefully neither rider suffers any mechanical issues tomorrow. I want to see them go head to head for the win.

This will be the most important time trial since Pornic-Nantes in 2003 when Ullrich fell on a wet roundabout. I hope this time I can stay awake to watch it, I had a rough night and fell asleep during the Galibier descent.

Do you guys think there would be any chance that either Evans or Schleck, would attack on the final stage if the difference was a mere hand full of seconds 3 or 4 either way, or is that to big of a no no?

lol @ butthurt GAF after Rolland's victory today

he's not some lazy crook taking advantage of poor Contador and Sanchez : in case you didn't notice he was the one who kept Voeckler in yellow all this time

It's "legal" but it's not going to happen, the last stage is a parade for the winner. Also it's a sprinter stage, only 4 guys won it after an attack (Vino in 2005)

The only exception was in 1989, the stage was an ITT and LeMond won the stage and the Tour over Fignon (RIP)

lol @ this French interviewer telling Samuel Sanchez that Rolland being stronger than Alberto Contador is incredible

hahahahahahahahaha
We have won 11 times their little race since the last time they won it, which btw is also the same amount of times we've won their little Roland Garros since their last win in 1983, let them enjoy the table scraps & their booeing.

Oh and that Contador punch is against someone dressed as a medic doing a transfusion. They should have had a french TV car run over him rather than the cyclists in the infamous stage this year.

Another great stage. Tomorrow is the battle between the two favourites now. Don't see Frank doing anything special and it's all down to Andy and Cadel.

Contador was a true bull today. I hope the drug allegations pass by without a guilty incident because this stage showed how much heart the guy has, despite any arrogance he may contain. Hitting the "fan" in the doctor/nurse operation outfit was amongst the best things to happen as well - 99% of the spectators who watch from the sidelines can manage to not be dicks, why must there always be the dedicated few who act like wankers?

Whoever wins will rewrite history. Luxembourg's first victory in 50 years, or Australia's first ever victory. I'm just thankful that Evans isn't acting like the dickhead he was a few years ago.

If someone won the Tour that way, the podium would be pelted with beer cans.

I really wanted Cadel to try in 2007 when he was only 23 seconds behind but no its kinda like a gentlemen code. I still think Cadel will be a perennial bridesmaid interestingly if not for the time bonuses that they had in 2007 & 2008 he would have won, I think not sure

Danny Pate is going to town. Already passed the guy that started two minutes before him, and fastest at the second checkpoint by three minutes :D (although only two others have passed :+). I love btw, how already half over of the Cavendish train has started. Really says a lot.

I hate Cuntador but props to him for that right hook.

I think Andy might surprise a few today. It would be a shame if such a closely fought tour gets decided by a crash in the wet conditions.

It's going to be a great tour whatever the result.

You would have to think it would be a massive blow to Cadel and his confidence if he loses again. Hoepfully if he does he comes back strong next year so we can see another close battle.

Yeah, WTF ?
Rolland isn't a crook, it's the only place where I read things like this.

Fuck you Rolland, that's not fair.

Samuel congratulating Rolland, nice gesture, I would punch him.

It's Evans tour to lose tomorrow.

Wow @ Thomas de Gendt, annihilating Cancellara's time at the intermediate points, and now Hagen beating THAT at the first point. Cancellara's just not been there at all this year, very poor form.

Fabian's thunder thighs aren't as thunderous as they used to be perhaps.
Yeah, maybe Tony Martin's are though, fastest at the first checkpoint now, by quite an impressive margin.

Going to do my usual routine and lie down in bed watching it on my phone. Hopefully I won't fall asleep before the end.

Andy Schleck starts at 16:18 (french time). So yeah still around 2 hours before we know the winner of this tour.

What time does Evans start?

Where do you even find this info? The official Tour de France site is worthless.

Cadel and Andy do both look nervous. Still going with the latter since this TT is hilly and might be more favourable for the climbers. e.g. I see Contador doing quite well here.

Sorry about my comments yesterday against Rolland, I was angry at his attack because I thought Contador deserved the stage. Rolland did no wrong.

Evans cut 30 seconds off Andy now.
