Shit. Do I get this on Steam or PS4?!
Remote play seems like it would be perfect for this...
Does anybody know if its 30 or 60 fps on PS4?
It's 60 on the PS4.

which I'm ok with
Yeah.. that is a reason for me to avoid it on remote play, so maybe I'll just get it on Steam.
As weird as that sounds.. lol
If it's as good as Bastion I will gladly shell out $20 for this on PSN.
the voice of the talking sword comes out of the controller on ps4
the lightbar pulses along
the choice is clear
Wouldn't that be incredibly low audio quality?
I wasn't a fan of that feature in Stick It to the Man.the voice of the talking sword comes out of the controller

It's been an issue since the store first emerged. It'll never get fixed until there are financial consequences. People like me keep buying the games despite the lackluster service. We're the real problem. My apologies. I just can't do physical anymore. PEACE.
It's actually pretty good, stick it to the man used it as well.
Res0gun sounds great. Stick It to the Man sounds great.
So far the audio quality out of the controller speaker has been great to me. I haven't heard an issue with it.
Whats even funnier in Stick it to the Man is fast forwarding ever so little as the people are speaking and hearing the slowly increased high pitch of the voices lol. Was funny.
This can be turned off btw

FYI in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, GiantBomb.com will have a Quick Look of Transistor up at their site around the same time the game is released tomorrow.

No it won't, the Playstation four controller is of the highest quality.
Having never used a PS4 controller, this is what I envision it sounding like.
The Wii controller sounds terrible...
Please tell me you can reroute the audio to headphones if they're connected. It worked fine for Resogun and Shadow Fall but I had recent problems with both Mercenary Kings and Stick It To The Man not having that option. I also covered the light bar with electrical tape like 5 days after launch. I want to be able to play games in private without disturbing other people, these controller gimmicks aren't helping any.the voice of the talking sword comes out of the controller on ps4

Edit: Seda you are a God. Just rerouting though right? Not entirely turning off, because that'd be pointless.

So I just preordered this right in the PSN store. Will the download start automatically in a few hours?
Nope. Even Transistor falls prey to Grace Chen Time.
You'll have it by 11:17pm Eastern tomorrow.
They've been pretty good. It'll most likely be up by 2pm PT.
Noooooooo. Was planning on staying up till midnight...
sooo...review embargo when?
sooo...review embargo when?
That's a good question. Hopefully at midnight and not synced with the Steam release.
Which is 5pm eastern which, for a brand new game on release day, is...
UNACCEPTABLE!
Pretty sure the store on PC updates earlier than the one on the console for some reason.
Steam has (generally) been very punctual about its 09:00 Pacific update time every morning, where it will release games and update the store sales. If in doubt, check the store page for the game in question, which will state exactly when the game will unlock. Then it's a simple matter of restarting Steam to coordinate everything for a smooth experience.
Steam can be unreliable at times, but this is one way in which it never falters.
I'm sure it'll be as good, likely better. But the combat doesn't seem to be much like Bastion. Which worries me. I might not enjoy playing it quite as much as I did Bastion.

I'm talking about this one

I remember grabbing a PS+ game that was released that day around 3 pm est, which is wayyyyyy before the store on the console updated.

If you preordered, I wonder if it'll show up in your purchase history around that time
I wonder if Transistor will have a similar review embargo to Wolfenstein at midnight Eastern.
