speaking of mania XX with benoit and eddie.

Wouldn't it be something if they recreated that moment with Punk and Bryan this year and they do the whole "look at these 2 guys who finally worked there way to the very top of the industry" .... it will totally not be as emotional when Cole announced and coming up next is HHH vs Taker since it should be a show closer but it would be a good moment none the less.

Looks like I'm going to have to remake Nocturn and add him to the roster for perm.

I know it's not really your point, but now's not really the time to do something like that since Bryan's a heel. Maybe at Wrestlemania 30. =P
 
So it was OK for Virgil to be Ted's slave, but Christian can't even have on of his own?

well by 30 hopefully we will have another new generation of guys in the main event.

But I hope after that match on monday that WWE see that Punk vs Bryan is a feud that NEEDS to happen eventually.



oh and Poor Samoa Joe. if he played his cards right 5 years ago he could have been there.

If only WWE gave him the title shot vs. Bryan. On the lead up to it, Regal is out talking and Bryan cuts in. He says he was deeply disturbed by those comments he made and had to alert the authorities. Bryan directs everyone's attention to the titantron where we get live footage of a SWAT team approaching the Regal residence. Shenanigans ensue.

Even so, I don't think that's reason to denigrate what was undeniably a great match (for Monday Night RAW). It would have been a whole lot better with 5 more minutes, or a decisive finish (which wasn't really on the cards, what with both of them as the current champions).

Incidentally, despite Bryan & Punk having any number of fantastic matches with the best names on the indies back in the day, I always felt that for whatever reason Danielson vs Punk matches fell short of the mark.

I haven't had the chance to check out EVE before, but I'll be taking the opportunity to with this iPPV - the promotion has received some great reviews across the 18 or so months they've been in existence and are getting some good mainstream coverage recently.

Thanks for heads up Bootaaay. Will check this out if I'm just hanging around Saturday afternoon. My local promotion AIW here in Cleveland does an event known as Girls Night Out every few months. They just had the 5th one and it featured Mickie Knuckles vs. Sara Del Ray, plus Mia Yim, Marti Belle, Veda Scott, Allysin Kay(who broke her nose good), and some other girls. I was very impressed by most of the girls on the card.

That dancing gif is great. I wish more crowds were that into the show. Most of the time the Jimmies sit on their hands for everyone except Cena.
