Trump campaign has just $1.3M cash on hand

Lol, this thing just keeps on giving.

I wasn't baffled that a wealthy man's campaign could score $46m in credit, it's surprise that his fundraising is so poor that even with his low spending there's a gap like this.
It kinda makes sense. Big money donors simply hate what he's doing to the Republican Party. Smaller donors are swept up in all the boasting he does about allegedly having $10 billion and not needing anyone's money. It's hard to claim to be super rich, not need money for the primary, and then fundraise.

Draper Sterling is the name of the ad company from Mad Men. This can't be real. This just can't be.

In fairness to Mr. Trump, the $607.59 spending on Trump Grill funded research and development on taco bowls. That's very little money to spend to guarantee the Hispanic vote.

It is literally too late to do anything about it. Their best course of action is to let things run their course and then try again in four years. Doing anything now WILL irrevocably fracture the party.
I disagree. Fracture and rebuild is the only chance they have, sooner or later. Sooner is better if you're the GOP and you want to actually win elections.

It's apparently a real company, but it was only incorporated in December and despite supposedly being an web ad firm has no online presence.

Oh, and reminder that Trump's next FEC filing will happen in the middle of the convention, but after first ballot.

Actually, that chart is showing ad time reserved for between now and the election, not past spending.

Thanks for the correction. My point works either way. Trump has the wrong expectations on what he needs to spend in a general vs a primary. Republicans spending hundreds of millions on losing candidates is funny because Trump clearly was winning but he's clearly losing against Hillary.

Y'all...

It's just Monday.

And all this is coming out in the evening, so the press hasn't even had their fun with it yet.

Will the Trump campaign even survive the week?

Lets hope it does.

We actually want him to limp to September.

After that, it does not matter much.

I hope so. I don't want the GOP to have too many excuses to drop him at the convention.

Wow, put a fork on the presidential run at this point the Democrats need to start focusing on the house and start tyig Trumps failure to everything with an R in front of it. Cut everyhead off of the GOP beast.

Dammit, this calamity needs to happen after his coronation at the convention, not before.

This isn't even the blowout that Hillary and the Dems have been trudging up.

This is like when the toilet backs up and the piss and shit water overflows. There's just so much of it it'll spill over.

How much do we think Trump spends on hairspray a month?

I have trouble imagining Trump doesn't see that as a campaigning expense at the moment.

TV Ads in Iowa or a dozen more cans of the good stuff?

there is something incredibly satisfying about the Republican party's 10 year pandering project leading to their party being hijacked by idiots who nominated a con-man for President.

Check his campaign spending. I'm sure he has a hair spray company.

Yeaaah I was thinking the same. Prolly would damage the GOP more in that case, than Trump collapsing now and having someone actually competent come in and the Republican base to reconsider and fall behind this theoretical candidate.

But the other options were Cruz, Rubio, etc etc so it's not like they have real options outside of Trump.

They won't replace him they'd do dmg control and keep their good alternates for 2020/24 . Only someone methodically popular could make the case and no one of that type exists on the republic or dem side for that matter if there were a similar situation .

More and more distancing if he doesn't gain back traction and focus on local races.

Please survive until the convention, please survive until the convention, please survive until the convention..

does it matter? the people who voted for him are going to be pissed if he doesn't take it. i guess in that case the rnc might be able to fund more senate and house races, which would suck, but it also might result in a very low republican voter turnout, which would be great.
