I hope the PS5 Pro's AI upscaling feature known as PSSR will automatically override FSR and replace it without having the developers do it themselves. And hopefully - cross your fingers - that PSSR is on par with DLSS, or it is as close as it can get.

you mean on games already released? how could that even work? Dont believe the tech can work that way. It would only apply to games going forward or patched games

I don't buy it, they should use at least 1 game to show the possible upgrades. Use an existing one if needed, just show the before and after shots with fancy RT and Digital Foundry/CSI level of image zoom and counting steps for resolutions

I don't see the point of annual GPU/CPU every year when games don't fully capitalize on the hardware. But they're there.

$550? It would be nice, but with improved features for games and an updated Dualsense? They will push for $599.

$699 for bundled accessories (maybe 30th anniversary plates edition) plus sales tax if you pay that.

Do something sweet like that for her every other week leading up to Thanksgiving. Then in one such note, but this one for yourself, accidentally write down my Thanksgiving gift target, put down the PS5pro and its price, then put down some measly $20 to represent what of that price you have saved up so far.

They did it in under 6 minutes for the PS4 Pro and still showed some games with patches.

they will no doubt show the benefits of the PS5pro using some gams already out now. But it won't be a games showcase in any way. Its a technical presentation. I don't know what people are expecting.

And how long do people expect them to need to show their version of DLSS? I don't even know what they would be talking about for 9 mins.

My biggest realistic hope for the pro is supporting some from of AI auto-upscaling for older PS4 titles like the auto SR in windows. So many games stuck in 1080p with ancient AA could benefit from this. But I imagine I'll be disappointed.
