There are going to be alot of tears and awkward silences in here after Saturday night.
RIP Sonnen's career.
Thankfully the WWE is always hiring and we can have a Sonnen run in to help Brock leading to a Brock and Sonnen tag-team.

That would be some entertaining shit right there.

Shaun Al-Shatti: Oh wow. Chael: "I've got one tremendous problem... I am exactly 20 pounds overweight. That gives me about 27 hours to lose 20 pounds."

Yikes that's a lot of weight to lose in that amount of time...

Interesting if true. I think part of the problem in the Bisping fight was him being so sucked out at weigh ins.

Has to be Sonnen messing with people and trying to mislead Silva's camp.
There is no way that he would cut it that close for what is easily the biggest fight of his career.

UFC fighters pick Silva vs Sonnen II

Wow, Nick, GSP, Roy and Cain all think this is Chael for the win, i hold their opinions pretty highly, but im still leaning towards Silva as long as he doesnt let Chael get close.....i really think Silvas wrestling isnt up to snuff with Chaels.

P.S: Did the Arianny vs Britney match ever get a winner?

I feel a disturbance in the force young Heel. I can feel your unwavering faith in Chael groaning under the strain of this possibility.

Sonnan the juicer couldnt even beat Bisping. Anderson is going to beat him again no problem.

Oh and can the UFC please stop booking tito ortiz. I swear down I heard Dana White years ago shitting on boxing cos they kept using shot over the hill fighters. UFC does this plenty!

On the contrary, friend, I've actually been reading Chael's book as proof of my unwavering support of his first title defense.

he makes it sound so easy to cut the ~20 pounds. interesting to hear and we'll see.
Hmmm, that does sound a bit crazy. I guess when I put it into perspective it isn't, as I've cut close to 12lbs in a day. These guys are on such a higher caliber and in such better shape that doubling that shouldn't be "too bad", all things considered. I know if he walks in tomorrow and doesn't make weight, he will be the laughing stalk of the industry.

Actually, Anthony is, but that's different lol

It'd be even funnier if Chael comes in overweight and wrestlefucks Anderson in a non-title fight.

The drama would never end.

I was 125 and cut to 110 in a day with a little effort a few years back.

If you're walking around at 205 losing 20 lbs is nothing with proper preparation.

My body (6'6" or so) can store around 12lbs of "normal" water & waste weight ("normal" as in it loses itself naturally without having to lock yourself in a sauna) without it being apparent to me. Factor in sauna-time and I'm guessing Chael's got around 10lbs he could easily lose just by doing a big shit and then sweating out the rest.

Also, once you factor in how fast Chael's metabolism is, his experience of cutting weight for wrestling contests, and then add in the multiplier effect of dat TRT then I'd say it's going to be ridiculously easy for Sonnen to lose that weight, and then gain it all back in time to fight.

It'd be even funnier if Chael comes in overweight and wrestlefucks Anderson in a non-title fight.

Part of me hopes that Anderson comes in overweight and Chael gets Filho'd all over again.

I don't know jack shit about UFC but I saw the pre-fight press conference and I am EXCITED. If Sonnen loses Vince should seriously sign him.
