I think Sonnen can back up all that endless drivel that keeps spewing from his facehole after rewatching the first fight.....except his punches are like babyslaps. He came out from the first one more cut up than Silva.

Aaaand it has started. He hasn't even lost yet and Silva is already being Fedored.

In all honesty Sonnen has his chances, I like him and it would made me happy if he won, except if we later learn that he used drugs once again. I was already so disappointed the first time.

But I like Silva too, and there is absolutely no denying that he was the best in the first one. All the one saying otherwise are blinding themselves.
As Hex said, he won, and that's what matter in the end. He might have had difficulties but he's the one that took the only chance he got and won the fight while Sonen had a lot of opportunities and didn't finished him. In the end he was the best, the one with the better plan, the one who knew what he was worth and what his opponent was worth and capitilzed on it. That's being a pro and an excellent fighter : staying clear-headed even when you are taking hits and being able to reverse the whole fight in an instant with a tiny mistake.

After all that, you can "not like him" as Sparrow say he does have a pretty unusual style that may not be the best to appeal to the masses or the ones craving heavy punches.
Doesn't change the fact that so far his style has been the best, even if it makes the public and Dana angry.

He's a wrestler, bro. If he's not punching you to set up a takedown he's punching you just to make himself look busy when he's in your guard.

Silva will have to do like Cigano's last fight .... when Sonnen goes to the floor Silva will stand up and call him up

And then Sonnen will not get even a small chance

Sonnen doesn't "go to the floor", Sonnen takes you to the floor.

Sonnen has grown so tedious, I seriously can not wait until he gets curb stomped into the land of soft foods and depends and look forward to all of the silence and excuses Sunday morning.
His mouth may have won him some fans in the knuckle dragging wwe style trolling is funny crowd, but what will he have left if (when) he gets dropped by Silva or tapped out yet again.

Really!?

If Chael comes out like he did in the OG fight with Silva or his fight with Stann he has a chance. If Chael comes out like he did against Bisping, Spider will win in amazing fashion.

Maybe Michael Bisping is tougher than Anderson Silver. Come at me, playboy.

This Silva myth stuff is sarcasm right?

Of course it's sarcasm. I mean, after all Lutter, Irvin, Cote, Leites and Maia were all elite-level opponents that completely validate Anderson Silver's legacy as the GOAT. Just like Rizzo, Rogers and Zuluzinho validate Fedor's.

when Anderson Balboa gets bodied again for 25 minutes, they are going to have to take a long look in the mirror and realize that Mickey Soares, Uncle Dana, and Joe Silva were protecting their paper champion by steering him clear of wrestlers.

In all honestly I would have to knock Anderson below Fedor, GSP and Hendo on the GOAT list when he loses to Chael. It's a glaring hole in his legacy that his often boring fights did not make up for.

I am currently debating whether or not to buy this. I haven't bought a UFC PPV since 100.

I feel like this is the kind of fight like the one people paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to seat on the first row to see Tyson end the fight in a few seconds.

But now you will have 9 other fights to entertain you.

Such as? Names, please.

I'm having a hard time coming up with any wrestlers other than Hendo or Chael who put themselves into title contention so that Anderson could fight them.
