Don't simplify and say all the people in line are retards who were simply too late. For all we know they could've been standing in line for hours now because of a shitty organization.

I mean, I'd rather shit on the people not voting at all, than those who arrive at the polls only 1 hour before closing time.

Nigel Farage will probably be really pissed off when he wakes up; at last a chance to get UKIP some front page coverage, but he had to go and crash on election day. He got all those injuries for nothing.

Considering that some places have actually run out of ballot papers this actually seems pretty possible.

I'm waiting for more information before laughing at them.

That's pretty dumb... in the States if you get in queue for the polls by the time the polls close you can vote. Not completely uncommon because places can run out of ballots or voting the machines can break.

And, really, I don't get the "We didn't get to vote!" complaints. Using any arbitrary limit will inevitably mean that some people do get there in time and some don't; unless you want the vote to last all year, I'm not sure there's any reasonable way around the situation.

My mate got to the pollstation at around half 8 and was texting us as she lined up and it took well over an hour for her to. Seems nuts compared to me where I strolled in and was done in 2mins.
She did say she thought alot of people wont get to vote. Youd think it would run till midnight but hey ho.
