OH THANKYOU GOD! Labour won it by a decent margin!

:lol Labour members singing "We SHAN'T be MOVED" and telling the Tory to go home. Who said politics was un-passionate and boring eh?

Nobody said politics wasn't childish.

I'm curious as to why all the Clegg rock star hype from these "game-changing" debates seems to have dissolved at the ballot box. This is the same old stuff.

I guess when it came down to it, people just weren't brave enough at the ballot box. Most of these people have only ever known Tory and Labour governments. They do as they're told by the various mouthpieces.

So it seems that the early declarations are largely irrelevant then, given the differences in the swing to the Tories.

The classmates I've spoken to about the election, during the three debates, often told me that Clegg had "gotten them interested" in voting. The youngsters impressed by him probably never showed up after all!

Also, aren't the LibDems supposed to fare way better in these districts, since it was a Labour stronghold and LibDem supporters could vote with their conscience instead of tactics?

and lol at all the UKIP candidates being old women and the BNP being dudes in their 30s-40s.

Yeah so far all the UKIP candidates look the same and all the BNP candidates look the same. Creepy.

I've just voted at 29 for the 1st time! I wouldnt have bothered if it wasnt for facebook and all the flame wars going on right now!

I went for Labour. By far the most sensible choice when you take emotions out of the picture.

Tactical voting. Everyone I spoke to in recent days wanted to vote for Lib Dems, but feared one of the two main parties, and so were voting for 'the other one' to keep them out instead. Got so sick of hearing that, it's pathetic really.

At least there's no danger of you getting drunk. I'm on the vodka and redbulls and am not too confident in seeing out the night (or at least remembering it!).
