You read my mind. Alas, my gif-making skills are nil.

Sadly so is mine. Hopefully someone will take the mantle

I'm thinking first we see RO, he says ACTIVATE IT, and then we see the Queen zoom up in the air with rocket fumes behind her!

How does that sound?

Now can someone PLEASE make one??? :)

But what would you say about a Lab-Lib Coalition that would have the most seats and share of the vote?

Wouldn't that coalition speak more for the country then a 34% Conservative Government?

Yeah you're right, that would probably be more representative than a minority Conservative government. All depends on the actual numbers.

The situation in Scotland right now:

Labour - 36
SNP - 5
LD - 5

Ridiculous really, how can the Tory's claim to have a mandate from the UK when they might not be gaining a single seat in the second largest country in the union.

Goog, good.

You've no idea how happy the LD's retaining my seat makes me. The Conservatives opened up their campaigning in a town close to my house (Melrose) and it was obviously a high-priority target for them. I'm happy for Michael Moore to keep his job, and good luck to the dude in helping Borderers - who have been bitch slapped to oblivion by the downturn - get back on their feet.

"there was a theory that the women of Rochdale would rise up and defend her honor" - Dimbleby talking about that bigot women

Dumfriesshire results:

David Mundell - Conservative - 17,457
Claudia Beamish - Labour - 13,263

Mundell must be doing a good job there. If he doesn't get a high-priority seat in a hypothetical Tory cabinet I'll be surprised. No, Secretary for Scotland doesn't count.

Didn't Cameron completely rule out electoral reform? Surely necessary for any kind of deal with LDs.

I think he un-ruled it out - but didn't quite go so far as ruling it in.

Dimbleby is right about this malarky regarding running out of ballot papers and voters being turned away.

Tinfoil hat age: It's an engineered problem-reaction-solution scenario in order to get electronic and internet voting greenlit in the inevitable electoral reform.

I'd imagine it would be, thats one of the reasons hes been trying to work out a deal with the Irish parties instead of trying to woo the Lib dems.

Lets face it, the Tories wouldn't create a coalition with Lib Dems if they could possibly help it, they are diametrically opposed to each other.

Edit: Whoa Redcar had a 21.8% swing from Labour to Lib Dems, thats quite massive.

Whoops, I accidentally called the seat for Lincoln early, thank god the one that went out was right.

But it's Tory, so I should kill myself.

Schools Secretary Ed Balls says: "The voters have spoken, but we have not quite heard what they have said yet."

Again with this pish? The Labour party needs better patter.
