Okay I'm watching the stream parts I missed and there are details that were missed:
The way the clan system for Heroes and Heralds works is you fight for territories which are "maps and backgrounds."
If you play singleplayer, there's a hitlist kind of grid of characters you have to find and defeat in an area, and if you get a line of characters kind-of like bingo, you unlock a new territory. If you play online, it's more meta with the online with a push/pull element.
Online, you sign up for a team (Heroes or Heralds) and winners are determined between wins each team gets per week vs. the other team. Resets each week. Seth is not sure, but he thinks if your team wins a given week, they win more cards. But you can also win cards offline.
Marvel is doing the artwork for the Marvel cards, Capcom is doing the artwork for the Capcom cards. All the art is brand new.
It's not Day 1 DLC, but it is free post-release DLC.
Multiple-Man is a card, there's Seth's bone.
Seth mentions "X-Factor Burst" card, may be the same as the Blowback one.
Cards can be primary or secondary. One primary, two secondaries. Secondary cards have actual varying effects. He mentions one as an example that starts you with 3 hyper meter, if secondary only starts you with two.
Decks are for the team, not per character. There are preset decks you can set. DLC cards are TBD. You can only choose one of each card.
Also, the stream dude who isn't Snow said explicitly PW and Nova were the last reveals for NYCC. The next two will come between now and Nov 15th.

wow with card system. It actually got me off the guard. Also people who hate wrights might enjoy him. He is hella fun to play with.
He is worth the slot that he took away from anyone.
Did you see the new trailer while you were there?
