-Story sounds shit, as expected from the writer of TLOU
-Gameplay sounds amazing, as expected from the designer of TLOU
-MP looks like throwing as much shit at the wall as possible and seeing what sticks, as expected from the ND MP team

Either way, not long until I'll be playing this game. For better or worse, it will be a pretty play through so looking forward to a good looking game.

Just as interesting as the rest of your interventions in ND related topics.

I believe it is a hair over 48GB, and then there is a 5GB day one patch that has multiplayer components and some fixes, which may not add fully to the total, but I am sure brings it over 50GB.

I would make sure you have 58GB of space or more just in case the download needs double the room for extraction.

Thanks!

wut

sorry double post, but, wut.

Though I agree Vanilla TLOU MP is still the best MP ND has ever done. Stop making so much convoluted shit for the MP and keep it simple ffs, a la UC2 and TLOU MP (GOAT MP game ever to me along with BF3)

Ok off work so can post again. There seems to be this thought the the story is either too serious or set peices being too tame.

So as far as story goes, someone earlier said that they felt it was slower at the start, that Nate feels older and almost as if this adventure game is just too much for everyone. That's absolutely the point of this game and narration, it makes sense in the context and seemed pretty apparent from the trailers.

Set peices, people are hearing that the car chase is the biggest and longest set peice and proclaiming dissapointment
it's true that it it the biggest, but as far as best? I'm not so sure. Yeah it action packed and thrilling but there is plenty of other smaller scale set peices that are great and I feel there is more of them because of this. Sum of them all feels better for me.
So that didn't bother me at all honestly.

Seems like using modifiers doesn't disable trophies? If so, Crushing is gonna be piss easy with infinite ammo using power weapons...

Speaking of which, I just came across a pretty fantastic setpiece myself.

And I think what I really like about this games approach to set pieces and combat in general is how it allows the game to breathe in between. It's not a continuous escalation.

And I hope it stays that way. Really liking how the encounters are setup.

Oh it does... it's hard to describe but it feels more personal even in set peices then more holly wood, if that even makes sense. Different feel but just as thrilling. People really need not worry.

Question: Can sony send reviewers special updates that only allow them to play games with those certain updates? Cause MP hasn't been up since Monday for a little while, so I'm curious as to how long reviewers actually got to play the MP for...

I just beat it. I think what I miss the most is not being able to throw grenades back at the enemies.

Throwing back grenades can turn it into a cover shotter though, and Uncharted is all about exploring the possibilites of the traversal and etc. Even more now with bigger arenas and more options.

You know, I really enjoyed the story setup and how the pacing was done in the beginning of the game. But boy is it nice to see the payoff. Just some fantastic scenes back to back where I am.

And it hurts me that I can't post screenshots of some later locations.

Drop dead gorgeous.

So.........

I was wrong about the story and this game as a whole. After Chaper 7 things pick up considerably, and this becomes the best Uncharted without question.

What a fucking game.

I'm predicting 94/95 Metacritic when reviews drop later tonight.

Shit man, you've had me a bit worried for the past couple of days! I'm glad it paid off in the end! Can't wait to play it myself next week!!!

Man this guy is getting a lot of stick for having an opinion some people didn't want to hear!

The comments of the much improved gameplay (previous UC games were good but never great) and a TLoU level story telling has me giddy in anticipation! Being compared to Max Payne 3 which is my favorite TPS has me excessively hyped.

GOD DAMN EXAMS :'(

Will now be exiting the thread, don't want my expectations built up to an impossible to meet standard.
