UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe-Late[cl-r]
Developer: French-Bread, Ecole Software
Publisher: Arc Systems Works
Release Date: February 20, 2020 (Switch and PS4)
The smaller development team over at French-Bread have been working hard on honing their fighting game craft for essentially two decades at this point with their latest releases finally bringing their name into more of the spotlight.
After being first revealed during EVO 2019, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] is now available to purchase / download for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch users though previous owners of the series can still take part depending on where they own it.
Current UNIST owners on PS4 should simply be able to update their games for free to UNICLR's features including character rebalancing plus new moves.
Additional DLC packs can be purchased to make UNIST content parity with UNICLR by offering Londrekia as a standalone fighter, additional colors, and a new round call though they can also be bundled all together.
Londrekia as a standalone fighter is priced at $8.99 USD while the full upgrade package for UNICLR on PS4 will set you back $19.99 to receive everything including the color options and round call voice.
PS3 or Vita owners (at least in Japan) also have the option to upgrade to the PS4 version of UNICLR for a discounted price of 2,000 yen ($18).
Those looking to buy the game fresh or on Switch will need to shell out $40 to get the full Under Night In Birth package.
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] brings the playable roster of the EVO mainstsage title up to 21 characters with the developers claiming they've made over 1,000 balance adjustments for the updated title.
