I hope Obama wins PA, FL, and OH. Maybe a resounding defeat like that would force the GOP to reevaluate their platform and actually give us a reasonable alternative to the Democrats. I'd never vote for the current GOP platform in a billion years.
If anything, they'll just go more ultra-conservative, radical and religious.
Instead of offering what's been needed for years... a FISCAL conservative platform that downplays the social leanings.
Moderate fiscal conservatives have been letting the nutjobs bully them since Cheney seized control.

Posted this in the other thread:

Last Republican stronghold coming in for Mourdock.

Donnelly still up 48/46. Lake county (Huge Obama Stronghold) still not reporting in.

I'm calling it.

JOE DONNELLY IS YOUR NEXT SENATOR FROM THE STATE OF INDIANA

Hey I'm a Latino Texan and I voted.

But Texas is the Mordor of Republicans, you're not going to see even a close race in this state.

Plus lots of Latinos are also Catholic. Lots of Catholics vote Republican. So there you go.

One day things will come to change.

I really hope to see this happen one day.

Not that this is a terrible thing, but it seems like this election will be called quite early into the election party I'm headed to. :p

If the republicans lose tonight I hope it causes more conservative introspection rather than insanity.. the moderate fiscal conservatives in America need to reclaim that party from religious zealots and emotional reactionaries in the next cycle or growing demographics might kill them altogether...

It pisses me off when people blame Obama for a lack of improvement, when republicans can cause gridlock.

I'm not blaming anyone, i'm just talking reality he got in nothing happened I don't care about the reason I care about the results. We already know whos fault it is and this is how we know that him winning here doesn't mean much either with GOP still in control.

That said its still better for obama to be in office just saying.
