Finally made it to the end of this thread.

Romney went out in a classy speech. Certainly classier than the majority of the the gloating and bitching I'm seeing here and there around the internet. Clearly, we all need speech writers.

In some ways, I feel bad for Mitt Romney. For the first time in his life, he realizes that money really can't buy everything. It couldn't buy him the Presidency of the United States. It has to be crushing to come to that realization, after many decades of always getting what he wants just by buying it.
Fuck him. I'm glad it took something this harsh for him to realize that.

My biggest victory tonight? Seeing my Senator Mitch McConnell eat his god damn words about his only concern making Obama a one term president. I wish I could vote that asshole out so hard. Alas.

All I'm going to say is that seeing the pictures of dejected Romney supporters just made me feel bad.

Thank you all for voting and making your voices heard. We all want the same thing, that is, a better America for ourselves and our children. Despite all the name calling, labeling, and bashing that went on up until now, here's hoping that we can get something done and move the country forward until we have to do this again in another four years.

Personally speaking, I'm disappointed in the outcome of the presidential election, as I was one of the people hoping for a Romney victory (apparently a small minority here). But at this point, it's over with. I can only hope for the best for the United States going forward.

I do actually feel kinda bad for him. He doesn't seem like a bad guy. And he achieved a lot in his life, but at the end of the day he'll always be haunted by the failure of the most important he ever tried to do, the same way his father did.

Florida not called yet? 0.7% for Obama at 98% reporting.

I've assured people the number they'd be reading in the morning paper would be 332.

I appreciate the sentiment, but lets get real: the country is going to be as rotten and divisive as ever. :(

The people who would've been actively persecuted by his policies (the LGBT community, women, minority groups) do not feel the same way. Sympathy? No. Schadenfreude? Yes.

Hey GAF, how are you guys going to prepare for a thousand years of darkness? I've been stocking flashlights and canned goods, but I feel like I'm missing something.

And you are the reality of the average American. You will live times of your life with a president you don't agree with. Will happen to everybody.

"You know, next to Ann Romney, Paul Ryan is the best choice I've ever made, I've got to tell you"

It seems that by electing Obama we averted our next Monica Lewinsky scandal!
