Sand Snakes armor look neat aside from the molded breasts...
What are the chances Northern Clansman are cut? One of my favorite things from adwd. If the show does them justice we would get a great speech and march.

yeah Jamie's fanfic dorne plot doesn't sound all that interesting... especially since they are cutting his Riverlands retrospective

I really hope he's some kind of reworked Moqorro. Both he and Elba are perfect for the role.
Also, while I absolutely hate those Super Snake costumes, hopefully they're temporary, and normal Dornish garb will also be worn.

It looks incredibly stupid and it's sexist and demeaning.
It's strange that they wear armour. Well, it's only Nymeria, but still, I never imagined the sand snakes wearing any kind of armour, I thought the point was that they were special and each one of them had their own style and clothes and such.

And are the sand snakes like the power rangers of Dorne now? Why are they all in uniform?

so you see one picture of them and think that's what they will always be wearing? is it really impossible that this might be a scene that shows them on some kind of mission so we see what they are capable of?

David & Dan, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just not a fan of their instinct to cheapen or tantilize things. I'm not upset that Obara is no longer the only Sand Snake wearing armor, that's fine. But not only will they all be introduced wearing the same nipple armor, they'll all be attacking Jaime for a quick action beat to spice up the episode. The thing I like about the Sand Snakes in the books, and assumed an actress would love as well, is that they all have one goal in mind but their personalities and methods are different. Naturally the writers decided instead to dumb that down into a cartoon: "this one is the badass with knives, this one is the badass with a spear, etc."

I would think if we're getting him we'd get some version of him preaching about Dany in place of that other priest in Dance. Still think it's more likely he's just our main pit fighter, though.
Them keeping a major actor like him a secret this long though does give some hope that they really are hiding a few characters from us still.
Also, Elba I never saw as Moqorro. With his salt-pepper goatee grown in he's pretty much exactly how I saw Ben Plumm though. And I pretty much read all of Plumm's lines in his voice. The tone and accent is perfect for it.

On Volantis, I've honestly been a bit out of the loop for the last week, so the chances are you guys know more about recent developments.
Clarke Peters has always been Plumm in my mind, or perhaps a younger Morgan Freeman (we can always dream). The chances of Plumm being in the show at this late stage would seem pretty slim though, unfortunately.
Oh yeah, Plumm's gone for sure. I wonder if they'll work in someone betraying her to replace him or if it'll just be gone all together.

I've never cared much for Dany or the cast of characters that surround her. But I always did like Plumm. And Belwas too. Belwas is just too awesome.

I think Darrio is likely to die in the 6th book, and since I'm guessing if Danerys is going the route of war and becoming the antagonist in the series, than she might actually like Victarion. Though if they do combine Darrio in the TV show into a Vicdaruon...than it could still work.
I've thought that too. Daario betrays her and takes his giant fleet with him either as retaliation against the marriage to Hizdahr, if they want to play up the romantic angle, or just because it's becoming clear that she's losing the fight and isn't willing to use the dragons to win, if they want to stick closer to the actual Plumm story. Then he can get Tyrion and Jorah like Plumm does in the book, who can convince him to change sides again, at which point he rolls in with his fleet to replace Vic. That covers pretty much all of the needed elements for the battle except for the dragon horn, which they're probably going to cut, at least for the time being.

Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons were fanfic anyway, good these plots are finally going to come against an editor with some force.

Pretty much agree with this, minus the fanfic part. Tyrion book five is one of those plots I just don't care about them changing much. That said, I'm maybe a little sad if this means we won't see
Tyrion forced to joust in the pit, and lions getting released on him. That would've been fun.
