Pretty sure we posted that image, or at least a very similar one, a few months back. Or maybe I meant to and forgot. Oops.

None of us are safe now.

To be fair it's not that big a departure from the books.

Tyrion and Jorah will likely be part of Team Meereen pretty soon into TWOW, so it's just cutting their little diversion to be part of the Second Sons or whatever company it was. And them seeing Dany doesn't really matter, she'll be off dicking around in the Dothraki Sea for ages.

I'd say it's comparable to how they changed the order of Sam getting back to the wall or Jaime getting back to KL.

I'd guess...

We know Tyrion and Jorah are sold, as in the books. I'd imagine Tyrion is just a slave and doesn't reveal his true identity, while Jorah is forced to fight in the pit. Dany doesn't recognize him until he takes his helmet off, and shortly thereafter all hell breaks loose.

If Jon were ever to be gone for good I dunno if I could keep reading. Won't lie he's my favorite fictional character in anything ever. The end of ADWD was painful enough...

We'll finally know Jon's fate after the stabbing by the end of this season, hopefully. It's still possible it could end earlier than that and they can leave the stabbing for an early season 6 shocker.

It's by far the best cliffhanger from the available book material, aside from The Pit. Alliser Thorne stabbing Jon and Drogon's return will be the big end of season moments. And maybe Stoneheart / Nymeria Wolf Pack via Arya warg murdering some Freys (it's gonna happen eventually).

Nope. They're not going to wait a year to reveal Jon's fate. And Stoneheart isn't happening.

You guys... Beric will be Lord Stoneheart, it's obvious.

I though Beric's death in the book was super anti-climactic, so this would be weird, but I wouldat least be glad for Beric getting to do something.

Spoiler pic:
Barry and Grey Worm better be off doing something cool while this is going down. :(

Thorne stabbing Jon would actually ruin the moment for me. In the show, he has been against Jon from the beginning, aside from the Battle of Castle Black, so him stabbing Jon would be painfully predictable. I still think killing Grenn and Pyp may prove to be a bad idea.

I officially propose to stop talking about those unimportant characters participating in those unimportant events and just marvel with Meissandei hhhnnnngggggg. Best girl confirmed, she has taken Mel's place by a landslide.

Third place for Margie for the bitchy face factor.

I think Mel reviving Jon Snow at the end of Season 5 is much better than Lady Stoneheart. Didn't they cast Bowen Marsh for something like three episodes, so he could still technically kill Jon?
Also I am assuming Grey Worm is the harpy's first major victim. I also think Tyrion looks ridiculous in that shot.

I looked up Bowen on the show after reading ADWD. He's one of those characters that have appeared on the show, but basically as a background character (like Kevan Lannister). I only remember him as one of the judges in Jon's trial after returning from beyond the wall, he might have had one or two lines. So he could be the attacker, but they'd have to establish him more to avoid confusing people. Alliser is the only established Watchman with a bone to pick with Jon.

There's also Janos...but I think it's safe to say he won't be around that long. :)

I can't wait to see the episode with Janos, but I belive they actually casted him(Bowen Marsh) this season as an actual character.

Nice.

Anyways, apparently this was the previous actor for Bowen. A bit different looking:

I agree that the scene would loose a lot if it was Alliser. It's all about the tears....

The picture gives me some hope for
no PENNY! Worst character in the books.

I guess I have to defend Penny again huh.

I liked Penny, mainly due to the role she plays. She exists to pull Tyrion back from the brink and helps him regain his humanity. Often she becomes a mirror for Tyrion, exposing his hypocrisy on dwarfs/self hate. Tyrion's ADWD chapters are pretty bleak, and Penny ends up being one of the only positive things in his life - and the only positive, innocent/naive person he's around.

Having served her literary point (restoring Tyrion) she's going to die a horrible death in TWOW.

What if the stabbing happens at Hardhome and Wildling survivors take injured Jon back to the Wall?

Bah, top of the page.

No. Brian Fortune (pictured above) was never credited as Bowen Marsh in Season 1; fans just assumed that. He played Othell Yarwick in Season 4 for the trial scene. This time he was actually named as such.
