Yeah but if you don't know its coming, its harder to notice. We are aware its coming.
Still though, if its permanent, I'm done. Jon does the most epic shit in this thing
The show just did the "FINAL BOSS STARES INTO THE EYES OF THE CHOSEN HERO" scene at the end of episode. Jon isn't going to stay dead.
No, Valyrian steel is dragon steel.
It's not obsidian though. So they merely confirmed that it has the same properties, maybe even better.
Already stated in the books.Next major book spoiler just dropped. Valyrian steel kills white walkers.
Perfectly sets up Jon getting shanked. The NW has NO IDEA what they're up against and won't believe anything they're told.

Book said dragon glass and dragon steel, and this is steel.See below.
Yes. This makes more sense. Thank you.
Guys, the show isn't good again because of one fight scene.
eh...this is GRRM. He likes to fuck with people regardless of the consequences to the story. I wouldn't be surprised if GRRM did it but the showrunners say fuck it and keep him alive and diverge greatly. Would people here still complain about that though?

Umm, is there anyone who read the books that didn't know what dragonsteel is?hypothesized but never confirmed

He/She's right, I love this episode, but it really doesn't retroactively make earlier episodes good."We've got a badass over here." Really dude?
Those wight kids were creepier than anything in the seemingly six thousand hours of Walking Dead.
The DREAD in that final scene was fantastic. The silence. Perfect.
And fuck if I wasn't totally chilled by the wights all flying off the cliff-edge only to crash land and then wake up and keep marching. So good.
Crazy thought. With no Stoneheart and with the knowledge that Jon is almost certainly not going to really die die, and with the shows tendency to skip confusing stuff, maybe they just won't have Jon get stabbed at all.
I don't think this will happen. Just a crazy thought.

Who was the wildling woman who got eaten by the undead kids?
