Looks like a fun little game.

Where should I buy JPN PSN cards online where they send the code through email?
I usually buy from Play-Asia, and sometimes Nippon Yasan.

Do they send the codes through email? Or they deliver the card physically? I remember one store that does that I forgot the name.

Edit: Just found out that Play-Asia sends it to the account not on email. Same difference! Thanks!

I want a Kamen Rider RPG to happen

We're not missing out on much here.

*steels my heart for the many who will throw soft fruit my way*

I do find Bamco's Vita support really puzzling. Like, I get that they're pretty much done with the console now and it's PS4-only going forward, but then they announce Gintama for it. Huh?

Yay, glad to see those guys getting more exposure.

Utawarerumono Mask of Truth is available in Europe. What is its relation with Mask of Deception ? Is it a sequel ? A parallel story ? I haven't finished MoD, I'm afraid to be spoiled by trying this new episode.

It's the third and final part in the Utawarerumono trilogy, direct sequel to Mask of Deception.

Does anyone know what's the cheapest item @VGP? I wanna order Collar x Malice with free shipping, but it's a cent away from the required 50CDN order.

Bullet Girls Phantasia announced for Vita (and PS4). Takes the gameplay of the previous titles and puts it in a fantasy setting. Oddly interested in this, although I didn't get far in 2 (need to give it another go). The previous games were 60fps on Vita, wonder if this one will be too:

Steins;Gate Elite is also for PS4 & Vita. Not sure how I feel about this game, the original is almost perfect as-is:

And a 5pb anime dungeon-crawler coming in 2018:

I was going for a full english set (US, Europe, Asia) and only missed three games, but now I deceided to sell some part of my collection. I love the Vita like no other console, but there are too many games I just bought for collections sake - and that's not healthy.

I was afraid at first, but after I sold the first game, I already feel relieved.

And the best part: more money for stuff I actually want to play. Because there is still alot on other plattforms.

I feel you. I had the mindset of collecting Vita games as well, but luckily I'm way more focused and decided to choose games that I'd actually play instead of buying stuff just because they'll become rare or expensive.

That's good to read. I had that mindset for far too long. It was an addiction at the end.

Definitely an addiction at some point, it's good to let it go. I'm still buying a few limited editions and such, but nowhere near like I was spending.

Grisaia Phantom Trigger 1 & 2 coming to Vita in Japan.

Pretty weird that they couldn't commit to this during the Kickstarter which was what, like 6 months ago? But still, good news, since I don't think Sekai have their hands on this one for western release (it's from Prototype directly, who are doing Sharin no Kuni on Vita).

My opinion is that Frontwing is waiting for Sekai Project to release the trilogy first before committing to release spin-offs in the West.

Just got my copy of Utawarerumono: MoT today, and I couldn't help but notice the box mentioning needing 3268MB of your memory card free. That's the size of the digital copy, right? Weird it would be on the box for the physical copy.

That's exactly the size of the digital version.

I bought a lot of titles at the beginning of the year as I was trying to catch up on Vita titles I wanted before they all went out of stock. The games were relatively cheap, but actually they all add up in the end and I probably spent way too much.

I've started to sell some of my double dips which I had the digital and physical of, wasn't the brightest idea when I purchased it. I intend to go back and play all the games I've purchased, but with all the new games coming out, I haven't made much inroads into that (Thanks Utawarerumono).

Definitely an addiction at some point, it's good to let it go. I'm still buying a few limited editions and such, but nowhere near like I was spending.

Yes, its an addiction all right, the consolation I've come up with is that even if the physical runs out before I can get a copy, Ill just have to buy it digitally. It's not too bad to have it digitally, as I can theoretically have it on up to 3 vita systems.

I've never been a full set collector but I did realise the other day that I buy games I would have just never bought for other consoles just because they're on Vita. I think I'm gonna have a clear out of my collection some time and get rid of some of the tat.

There have been some games that have been way (WAY like 10x) cheaper for me on Steam (because of regional pricing) so as much as I would have liked to get the Vita version, ill just get it for Steam. Ill probably get a GPD Win 2 somewhere down the line.

Nippon Yasan finally shipped my red Vita slim after a week, I was getting worried as it was the first time I used them. I should have just gone Ami Ami - but shipping costs need to be calculated for Ami Ami after taking the order and it seemed like a hassle. Didn't expect NY to take like a week to ship a Vita that was 'in stock'.

EDIT: Well after reading this forum with 69 pages of comments on Nippon Yasan, I don't think I'd recommend them unless they were your last option.

Ah yeah before moving to a new house which cripled my finances I was buying avery at least average game on Vita just because playing then on her was so great :D

Honestly, the biggest thing about Vita for me is that it's led me to discover a load of different games and just things I'd have never had tried, and I love that. Discovering the original DanganRonpa; Steins;Gate; Hotline Miami; stuff like Lost Dimension since I'm not such a fan of tactical RPGs; playing my first Gundam game with Extreme Vs. Force etc., it's just been fantastic.

But I've also taken some gambles on games that just aren't that fun, and then I keep them because I feel like Vita games will be difficult to find which is probably a bad idea since I'll likely never play them again. I flogged things like Muppets Movie Adventures and Sorcery Saga but I'm still clinging on to things like Rose in the Twilight, which I could probably sell for a few quid (and likely will actually now that I'm talking about it).

i got burned out after 100 games~, that, and my shelves for the vita is full, perhaps also because of LRG fatigue since i buy many games 2nd hand, or new for discounted

not bad for end of life system

I think I'll always remember the Vita for introducing me to the Ys games, years later it's one of my favourite series. Only fitting that VIII could well be the last retail game I buy for it.

Also PS+ introducing me to stuff I would never have tried otherwise. The Swapper, The Swindle, Xeodrifter, Guacamelee. All of them available elsewhere but all of them great to play on a Vita.

Celceta was my first Ys game, and while I haven't played any of the others I can't wait for VIII next week. I hear the Vita version is good.

Celceta was my first one too, I can't recommend them enough, Ys Origin finally came out a few months ago on Vita and was particularly good if you are ever looking for an action rpg :)

Oh that's right, I ordered the physical Ys Origin from LRG so I will play that one as well.

Take this with a grain of salt, but apparently Omega Labyrinth Z is getting an english Asia release according to Heavy Arm Store:
https://twitter.com/HeavyArm_Store/status/905450962210365441

Edit: He is getting it tomorrow already. Did I miss something?!

This is the first I've heard of this. There was a trailer with English subtitles a while back so I thought it was a possibility, but there was never any announcement made. I wonder if this is the same Asian release that Play Asia is selling? They don't list English subtitles on it.

Olengie

Some Asia releases actually have different versions like Chinese and then another one that is Chinese and English. An example would be Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment

Either way, they'll confirm it when it comes in anyway

But both versions of SAO: HF include english subtitles, just the outer packaging differs.

This is one of those dream releases a number of people wanted to see localized right?

Well I guess someone must still be pushing for Vita over there, even if the outcome is unexpected at times.

Play-Asia has the game already in stock, similar price and release date - and no mention of english subs:
http://www.play-asia.com/omega-labyrinth-z-japanese-chinese-subs/13/70b4fp

So yeah... can't imagine there is another Asia version.

The Play-Asia listing also doesn't mention Korean as a language, just Japanese and Chinese.

Not saying that makes HeavyArm's "Asian English release" any more likely, but they did mention Korean as a sub language in their tweets.

Yeah. But it isn't a dream to pay $65+ for it. lol

There is always money to be made off collectors and enthusiasts. These English-Asian releases have slowly become quite the hawt pickup over time, especially when one version of a game isn't getting released at retail. Someone just decided to cash in is all. I hate to see it happen, but it's not especially strange for me to see these things this late in Vita's life cycle.

That'd be cool, although I have no interest in a rogue-like dungeon crawler.

In other news, Time Recoil teased for Vita again:

https://blog.us.playstation.com/201...stick-shooter-time-recoil-out-sept-12-on-ps4/

Another day, another Vita release
that isn't Pixel Noir
.

No. There is literally a listing that is just Chinese and Japanese Subs (page actually just says Japanese). And another that states Chinese and English Subs

http://sea.play-asia.com/sword-art-online-hollow-fragment-chinese-english-sub/13/707jlr - Another Asia ver

http://sea.play-asia.com/sword-art-online-hollow-fragment/13/707fcf - Asia ver

Interesting. There are actually atleast three Asia versions then. There is a second english one with english subtiles and complete english packaging, sold in Malaysia/Singapore.

Hate to see it considering the other releases were relatovely cheap at the low 30s with the highest being about 50 before Omega's price of 65 showed up. Lol. Just me being cranky about the price.

This is a new release that still goes for 6000+ JPY so it doesn't seem that crazy to me.
