Lame.

So how are my fellow Bernie supporters feeling about Monday? I've been feeling pretty good for the past month, but at the moment I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety. We are so fucking close...

At this point he's going to lose, I feel. Unless something drastic changes.

Nah.

I don't like arguments.

me neither. Good luck to your candidate and good luck to my candidate. Cheers to everyone.

Lame as fuck.

get some refreshments for Monday. Soda, chips, wings etc and enjoy the results. No anxiety required.

Just keep expectations in check: he's not expected to win. Things are going well here in NH at least! :D

I think he'll lose. But I've come to terms with it. The fact that a candidate like Bernie is giving Hillary a run for her money says a lot to me. America is ready for a change. Bernie would have been a joke candidate even an election ago I feel. Yet here we are. I think I'm going to like America a lot more in 20 years.

I am hoping and praying that Bernie and his supporters cast a spell that actually gets young people out to the caucus. That will be the true test. Hillary has the advantage if only because her supporters are on average middle-aged and used to taking time out of their day every four years to do something that is usually worthless. Try convincing a bunch of 18-25 year olds that this is just as important as the general election. Here is hoping!!

Go Bernie!

I think it has more to do with 8 years of the right calling Obama a socialist. They have over used the word to the point that people are like "alright".

Didn't know where else to put this but I came across this video and found it to be highly encouraging. After hearing so much cynicism about what can or can't be done in this political climate, it's refreshing to be reminded of how important the grassroots movement is.

We really need to stand together, show our support, and show the congress that we're not gonna let them steamroll Bernie. This isn't about Bernie Sanders, this is about America fighting back for our rights, and we're not gonna do that by sitting back and expecting one person to speak for all of us.

This video that the campaign just put out about how to caucus in Nevada is ADORABLE:

Here's the YT version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzfdscTe_cw (for those whose thermal paste is still going strong - PoliGAF insider joke ;) ).

If the pumped up and "in tune" crowd, at Bernie's recent Las Vegas rally, is anything to go by, he stands a great chance of doing really well in Nevada :).

Awww, so cute.

To be honest, there's a lot of subtext in that video. Enough to dissect it in a separate thread.

The Charleston, South Carolina rally is happening right now. Catch it before it ends.

Edit: It just ended :/ oops. You can still watch the replay in the link.

I was lucky enough to be at the New Hampshire victory speech in Concord, it was so much fun. Making plans to canvass in MA this weekend, and will probably head back there for GOTV too.

Today: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-kashkari-idUSKCN0VP1Y4

The U.S. Federal Reserve's newest policymaker and a former point man for the government's bailout of the financial industry on Tuesday called on lawmakers to take radical action to rein in banks and protect taxpayers.

In his first speech as head of the Minneapolis Fed, Neel Kashkari, a Goldman Sachs executive before he worked at the U.S. Treasury, urged Congress to consider "bold, transformational" rules including the breaking up of the nation's largest banks to avoid bailouts.

Kashkari indicated that his work at Treasury, where he managed a key part of the banking and auto industry bailouts during the financial crisis of 2007-2009, helped inform his current view.

A set of regulations introduced since the crisis, known as Dodd-Frank, did not go far enough, he said in prepared remarks that straddled the line between the Fed's policymaking remit and political advocacy.

"Now is the right time for Congress to consider going further than Dodd-Frank with bold, transformational solutions to solve this problem once and for all," Kashkari said, arguing that the biggest banks are still too big to fail and continue to pose a significant, ongoing risk to the U.S. economy.

Actually, we were able to get some footage from Bernie's talk. We were a few hundred feet away, but I think you can still hear him pretty well in the video and get a feel for the crowd. It was a great talk. Nothing super new from his usual stuff, but it was my first political rally and it felt great. Very solid audience with a good speaker - you could see what Bernie is saying means a lot to many people that were there. Some people literally were teary eyed listening to him, and although I'm pretty stoic most of the time even I felt a bit of good vibes from him.

Also, the video is Unlisted, but feel free to share it - it's just way off the mark from my usual content, so I figured I'd leave it hidden from my subscribers.

According to Secret Service, there was a suspicious package found. It's probably the reason why they capped the amount of people in the stadium.

should be fun, i still believe bernie will win

at worst, he's def not handing us over to hillary without a policy war, leading to the convention. tyt interview taught bernie a lot, cenk did good.

but GAF keeps on telling me he has 0 chance

He does have 0 chance mathematically. He's going to lose New York and California and that will outweigh any gains in these smaller states. Hillary is 300 pledged delegates ahead and just needs to run out the clock. However, Bernie will keep collecting delegates for the inevitable fight over the party platform - he'll eke out a few more compromises in exchange for his full support.

By how much is he going to lose New York and Cali?

He's currently down 43% against her in New York (where I live). My entire family is voting for her except my dad (a rabid Trump supporter who thankfully refuses to vote).

Cali he's down about 8%. He's also down 6% in Wisconsin, 32% in Maryland, 25% in Pennsylvania, and 25% in New Jersey.
