No, Romney was not right. Romney was comparing the state of the navy in 1917, to the state of the navy in 2012, without bothering to mention the function of the navy is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Yea, a OP is never going to center around the use of a bayonet. It isn't going to happen, I mean what is easier shooting the guy next to you or stabbing him with the end of your gun?
