Never played a Persona game. I've heard so many good things I might as well jump in now.

I'll also get both MGS collections, the DMC collection and and MGS Rising.

What a fantastic sale

How good/shit is Chrono Trigger on Vita? Feeling like it is time to beat it again, haven't in a year or so.

It's a port that is damaged by terrible load times, but 3.50 is a hell of a lot less than the minimum of 20 dollars you would have to spend to get the DS version

It has neat animated cut scenes from Akira Toriyama, that's a plus. Though I'm not sure if it's the intro only or spread throughout the game

which of the atelier games are worth getting?

interested in the vita ones

already have murumasa and p4g physical but for this price I might as well upgrade

Obligatory "Holy crap get Persona 4 Golden" comment. Seriously, $15 is a great deal.

& DAMN at Tales of Symphonia Chronicles being $10. I wanted a physical copy but $10 for two RPGs is so tempting.

I wonder if I should rebuy Muramasa Rebirth since I sold my copy a month after getting & completing it since I forgot about the DLC....though I couldn't get PS+ price since Vita is tied to my old sub account.

I'm sure that Murasama rebirth will be coming to US PS+ since it's at the price of 7.49, which is what I paid for Puppeteer (the PS+ game for the month for May lol). At that price, I don't really give a fuck so I'm just going to buy it to make sure. :^p Chronicles for $10 is a steal, since I doubt the retail version will hit that price anytime soon (best bet in Canada will be the 2 for $20 promo once it hit the 14.99 used price in 1 year). Tales of Xilia is another matter since I can still find the limited edition in some stores so I didn't buy the digital version back in january for $10, but really tempted by Chronicles and Ys as well hmm...

I'll probably get SC5 just so I can dump the physical copy and I'll also probably pick up the HSG game even though I already have it on Vita.

Everyone who has a Vita should buy P4G. Even if you are remotely entertaining buying a Vita, you should buy P4G

What if you do not enjoy JRPGs aside from Dragon Quest? I have not played the Persona games but I've played a lot of JRPGs and have not really enjoyed them.

Made an agreement with another GAF member, refused to honor it because he was broke, but then had no problem continuing to buy video games.
I think i will get muramasa and Ys, are they worth it?

I tend to dislike JRPG's in general, and P4 is one of my favorites. It's structured quite differently than a traditional RPG.

Sweet! Noticed last week that I never had bought Chrono Cross on PSN, so now I can correct that and add it to my Vita pile. Very tempted to go digital on the Tales of Symphonia collection too; I don't think it'll hit $10 for a physical copy for a while.

Also, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational has been on the PS3 since last July? $5 seems like a steal (albeit it'll prolly become a PS Plus freebie after I buy it given my luck.)

Not eligible for Vita sales since my Vita is set to R3...

definitely going to pick up Tales of Symphonia Chronicles though. Anyone got any other recommendations on the PS3 side?

Tucah

you speak so well
I've been itching to play a Hot Shots game recently for some reason, even though my only experience with the series is one of the PSP games so this sale is good timing. Probably gonna grab Chrono Trigger/Cross because why the hell not, and the MGS and DMC collections. Good sale.

Do it anyways. It's more of a dungeon crawler then your typical JRPG and it oozes style that most JRPGs don't have.

GAF will tell you to just buy it, and I'd agree, but what turns you off from most JRPGs? Persona is pretty unique in terms of JRPGs but it is heavily Japanese, of course.

Sweet. Was planning to get Muramasa sooner or later.

As for PS3, gonna get the Tales game, and possibly Chrono Cross.

Any difference between the Metal Gear Solid Collection on PS3 and Vita?

Gives all the fucks

I got Tales of Xillia (which was the first day edition) for $20 on Black Friday & still need to play it...& continue Vesperia...among some other RPGs (Star Ocean 4, Resonance of Fate, Conception 2, etc.). Though considering this is the cheapest it'll probably get, especially since it just came out in Feb, I might as well. Really glad I decided to wait on a price drop.

& while it would be awesome if Muramasa came to the US PS+, I couldn't get it because I tied my Vita to my sub account, which is what I mainly used growing up on my PSP & then PS3 before learning of the PS+ & sub/master restrictions (seriously, what the hell ever happened to that whole "Sub to master" upgrade that was mentioned back in Nov.?). I heard that sub accounts used to be able to subscribe to PS+, but then it was removed so more M-rated games could be added.

I already own most of these.

But im still getting Muramasa, the vita ateliers, ZOE, and tales.

Murasama rebirth is incredibly hard to find in stores where I live, so I'm better off buying the digital version for $7.49 which is cheaper than I'm ever going to be able to get for a game which is considered rare here. I could potentially wait for it to be offered on PS+ since it's already going in the rotation in EU, but nah. It's quite cheap anyway and I'll "own" it.

ATELIER SALE OMG oh who am I kidding I own them all already but ATELIER SALE OMG

Already have Chrono Trigger for 3DS based on comments about PS1 Trigger sucking but how's Chrono Cross? Also have a disturbing desire to pick up MGS HD Vita despite owning the PS3 versions, and Hyperdimension despite my allergy to fan service. Oh shit, and I just realized TALES OF SYMPHONIA CHRONICLES is TEN BUCKS. That's crazytown pricing, it came out like a month ago.

This sale is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

Ok gonna have to get a Atelier game on Vita, never played any of them. Which one should I grab?

Totori first. If you like it, then Meruru. Based on prior history, it seems like you'll have to wait a year at least for the next Atelier sale, so if you're interested in both I'd consider getting them now (Totori is only slightly cheaper than the first time it was on sale).

Re: Ayesha. It's a great Atelier game too, but two caveats: no Japanese audio (I didn't care but I know other people do) and we're likely to get Ayesha Plus for Vita eventually. It just came out in Japan so I'd say maybe in a year or so? Tecmo Koei haven't announced anything, to be fair.

If you can't wait, totally buy Ayesha, it's great.

Came in to complain about the lack of DJMax Technika Tune, then remembered they're made by a Korean based company.

Game still needs to go on sale though.

Looks like I'm going to have to take advantage of this sale. Let's see:

- Chrono Trigger (Why not for only $3.49)
- Hot Shots Golf
- Muramasa Rebirth
- Rain

Most everything else I already own.
