Natural or adopted children living in a same-sex household will only be allowed to be baptized once they are 18, disavow the practice of same-sex cohabitation or marriage, and stop living within the household, according to the policy. Such baptism would still require the approval of the church's governing First Presidency.

Move out and denounce your parents and you can join. Straight up fascism.

Yeah, another issue that society must force a religion to "evolve" on. Hopefully the LDS church will become more accepting and take on a kinder, loving message. Pitting kids against their family like that just because their parents were created differently is one of those areas where "opinions" and "they have their beliefs" shouldn't matter. It's directly harmful and should be combated.
