As someone who watched the endings, I wouldn't be surprised if they were fake. They aren't in game even.

I bought the remaining few games I was missing from the Potato Pack, do I not get a TF2 pin?

Also, pre-ordering Portal 2 was supposed to get a pin as well and I don't have it either, am I cursed?

The X360 GPU config may work in some crude fashion as the Xenos is DirectX-based, but the OpenGL API used by the PS3's RSX is - if I recall correctly - a somewhat customised amalgamation of the typical OpenGL API and the OpenGL ES API (which is intended for embedded devices such as consoles), so I can't imagine that configuration file working.

They just added the ability to change how certain hats looks. For a few hats, you can change what parts of the hat is painted, for some others, you can make the hat appear as an older or lesser version. Like the Hat of Undeniable Wealth And Respect has an option to make it look like the Treasure Hat hat now, and the Ghastlier Gibus can be made to look like the old Ghastly Gibus. Also, one of the new Misc items can be changed from a normal eye to a robotic eye.

Watched the videos. There's no way either of them could be considered an ending. There's nothing in them (at least to my casual eye) plot related.

I still find it fascinating that a few days in real time is about 70 years in Internet time.

EDIT: And yes, I did check the links after various people confirmed they were safe. Nothing to see there that spoils anything.

Somehow I doubt that. I bet they have one more trick up their sleeve. Maybe not though, after all, the end of the timer would be the time from the Bathysphere puzzle.

17 potatoes down, I'm pretty worn out on GLaDOS commenting on everything I do in every game, and I haven't even played Portal 2 yet (assuming she still does that). I was playing through the Ball's Portal level, getting the hang of it, not too bad, then in Test 4 I put the ball onto a switch, walked over to the open gate, and did the "clever" thing and pulled the ball toward me while standing on the other side. The ball didn't make it in time, the gate closed, and... there's not even an option to suicide that I could find. Not in the menus or any way to self-inflict. So that would be restarting all over again, the puzzles and turrets don't stay cleared as if you died. Wouldn't take me forever to redo, but kinda sucky punishment for trial and error.

There's no way I'm going to get a Golden Potato, there's just too much expected of you by some games. It's cool I got as many as I did, though.

This is so awesome, i went blackout because of the leaked endings and this appears!
So the last clues of the ARG are in [B]fake endings[/B] that the ARG people cant see because of spoilers.

Anyway the fake endings are awesome videos but very random, they could stil be part of the game even if i doubt it.

I still dont really want to watch those supposed 'fake' endings. Not the videos above, but the actual ones posted by Flamehaus. If there's even the slightest chance he's wrong and they're real, I'd be shattered to see them early.

They're fucking hilarious, is it Valve's style to just make their franchise a little silly joke? Either way nothing happens, they're both short little outros. They don't conclude any plot to speak of, well the single player one has a little dialogue from Merchant, but again the setting just shows how ludicrous the whole thing is.

If we were talking about Final Fantasy I'd be with you.. but this is Portal and an ARG.
