What if the amount of potatoes you earn is the amount of hours you can play it early on Steam? They wouldn't go that in depth, would they? Can they?

that'd be crazy sick, using the release of the game as a part of the underlying theme. Time portals? ..not as crazy as you might think.

gah, why don't I plan better? My surge protector fried a couple days ago, and I've just been plugged into the wall. I need to go get another one before this thunderstorm hits. I'm pretty sure if my computer bricked on Portal 2 launch day (?) I'd have to go ahead and jump off a bridge.

the game takes place 100 years in the future
and
b)
involves a connection to hl2 ep 3, which doesn't take place 100 years into the future
...

Well, you do travel 2 weeks into the future in HL2 using the teleporter

This really makes me 99.9% sure that it will be in us fans hands as to how to play the game.

I just hope it isn't some brute force thing (like 50 million likes on facebook or some shit) that requires numbers rather than smarts.

If it's smarts I'm confident that we can work it out.

However, the fact that she mentions robots before hand then it makes me think that it will be a task better performed by a robot... In which case, I've got my programming fingers ready and will punch in something to work out some calculation or something. I'm sort of expecting something to be a count of 1's and 0's and there being millions or whatevs.

Yeah, both are now even cheaper. Someone I knew bought both yesterday and I bought them three days ago, ah well, isn't that big of a difference.

well I was only able to get 11 taters, it was/is crazy difficult for me to get the taters, not only because the inner difficulties involved in getting them but because my gaming time is very restricted ( work + wife + baby). I did all I could to get some taters; heck I even sacrificed some sleep time so I could have some extra time to game and get some of them.
I hope my sacrifice contributed some way or another to whatever we are going for here.

I also at work watching the countdown, productivity fail today.

(I also need to finish up a short paper by then. If Portal 2 unlocks, Georgia may have had GLaDOS as a governor at some point.)
