Oh didn't play the challenge stuff yet.quinntendopower said:the 360 tearing is mostly in the challenges from what I could tell, and the training area
the game itself has some minor tearing, but it's pretty tough to see and be bothered with. i hate tearing and the 360 version didn't bother me at all

Still no Quick Look for this game. BooCurufinwe said:Ryan Davis gives Vanquish 4/5. Of course, he's known to be a God Hand/Clover fanboy and that's the only reason he reviewed this game for Giant Bomb and gave it a good score. :lol

ps3 version does not have v sync. I have the ps3 version it has tearing in the same areas the 360 version has it but also framerate issues If had to choose again I'd get the 360 version. Joe fenix was saying they are identical and as a graphics nut I'm telling you they aren't.Foxix said:Yeah, no. JoeFenix was saying was that there is no screen tearing present in the PS3 build. To which you resonded that the statement was bull and there are in fact framerate drops.
Which is a goofy assed reply, but correct nonetheless in that yes, there are frame rate drops in both builds. Although very, very mild in most instances. Your later, and current statement about screen tearing is flat out false though in the PS3 build. It's triple buffering with v-sync.

I have no idea what you're seeing, but all I notice in the PS3 version is texture and object pop-in and an occasional framerate dip. Otherwise, smooth sailing. And I'm someone who has repeatedly traded PS3 versions of games for 360 ones due to small, subtle differences like slight tearing (e.g., AC2).practice02 said:ps3 version does not have v sync. Though, I prefer Vanquish's pacing. Doesn't make you have to hunt down hidden encounters, nor does it have you go through boring vehicle sections (having to go through a particularly tedious one everytime you want to fight the coolest battle in the game should be a crime).

So are cigarettes limited to 2 per section, or 2 per mission?
