(Very) hot take: CAPCOM should try their hand at making some PC exclusive games

Resident Evil Survival MMO in Raccoon City where you have to survive in whatever means possible and you can meet other players. But since this is PC only, it's going to get ruined by hackers.

Also, everyone knows that CAPCOM are one of the frontrunners of modern game tech,

There's almost 80 million PS5, 35 million Xbox Series, and like 155 switch/switch 2 out there in the wild. Intentionally ignoring that market is just plain dumb at this point.

Just one question: why? No AAA company is making PC exclusives anymore. Consoles are basically PCs now, but without the piracy and with more users willing to pay full price for games. The only real advantages of PC—like high-end GPUs—are niche and not enough to justify AAA exclusives.

No point. Unless you want Capcom to make an RTS or something.
Yeah, unless we were talking about making a "PC-specific" genre like a RTS, CRPG or management game, what would even be the point of going exclusive?

And even these are often getting console ports these days, anyway (despise the fact that I wouldn't want to play these with a gamepad if my life depended on it).

lol Dragon Dogma 2 and MH Wilds performed like shit at launch, and SF6 is quite ugly, with some of the worst lighting ive seen in a fighting game.

RE4 looked good but thats about it.

You could sell your game exclusively on one platform and make some money

Or.. you could sell your game on all the platforms and make more money.

Gosh.. I wonder what capcom will choose to do. Make a game for a small audience to make you happy? Or make a game for a large audience to make their shareholders happy?

Man. A mystery for our time
