The comment I was replying to was complaining about Nintendo being able to make money from their games, implying that it's wrong for Nintendo expect that people will actually pay to play their games in the first place. I never said anything about people not having fair use of what they bought.

If it were just people ripping the copy of the game they bought and playing it on another device they own that would be one thing, and we probably wouldn't be hearing about this. But that isn't what is happening and it's not what Nintendo is trying to fight. This upsets people because they won't be able to torrent free copies to play in Dolphin. It's mostly about people playing what they didn't buy and you know it.

People who pirate games are the ones ruining it for the people who really care about preservation and emulation. Maybe we should be pointing some of the blame at them, too.
