If a shirtless brodude with highlights in his hair and tribal tattoos who claimed to be "totally a geek you guys" and published glamour shots of himself looking "totes casual" as he showed off the good side of his face was identified by gaming companies as an influencer and given previews, I'd make the same kinds of comments.
I also can't stand those unconvincing bugmen like Casey Neistat or whatever.
People are very good at detecting insincerity, ulterior motives, and attention whoring. Even kids can immediately pick up on it.
This Pearce character strikes me as one of those lifestyle model types first and foremost so I will evaluate her accordingly. I also think a lot of those weird "lifestyle" people who hang out around all white furniture and play Nintendo stuff are equally unconvincing, including the males, in exactly the same way this person is.
