How are the Ys games? Which one would you Vitabros recommend to someone new to the series? Or is there an rpg I'm missing out on that needs to be played? BTW I've played through P4G and P3P and loved both of them so anything like those would be awesome, turn based combat, decent story...

I think there's a sale tmrw/tuesday on the PS store. I'm not sure what is discounted but as usual there's a further discount for PS+ members; the guys on the PS Blog mentioned the sale will be up to 75% off.

I hope P4G goes on sale.

Persona 2 maybe , although I found it dated. Demon negotiating and fusing isn't as fun as in the more recent games

Yeah, you need to use a US billing address (any will do). I use my credit card, not sure what other options they have. The only hurdle is the US address, but apart from that it's just the usual.

Just make sure you get the digital code and not the physical. You can get a $20 or $50 code.

Been away a while working, playing games, and occasionally lurking. Hope everyone is doing fine and enjoying their Vitas.

I'm sitting here watching Nausicaa and looking forward to the Ni no Kuni release in a couple of days. I'm finding that I'm wishing it was coming to the Vita. As beautiful as Studio Ghibli movies are I can only imagine what a game with their art direction would look like on that Vita screen.

Hopefully when the Vita grows up it will be an RPG powerhouse like the PSP. Maybe that would be an incentive to get a Nice no Kuni-like looking game on the Vita.

Perusing the last couple of posts it looks like our Vita safe haven may be in danger. I hope not. For the last several months this thread series has been my first and last stop when at GAF.

I never enjoyed my PSP much to be honest. I liked DS way better back then, but I hadn't played any handhelds in YEARS because I got tired of the PSP AND DS after hardly any time. I came back to the handheld scene when the Vita was unveiled and I've been loving it ever since.

I think I can scrape together an automatic OP generator if that helps. Otherwise it might be a pain to manually create one each month.

so after been horribly addicted to persona 3 and 4, im going to go back to the other smt games which i overlooked. which one is perceived as the best? i want great characters, good setting and good story.

Well my gaming time has taken a 90% hit since then. So it could be that. But I guess it was the first time I experienced console quality on a handheld. My mind was blown (even browsing the web was mind blowing)

I still think the first PSP feels more like quality build than Vita and my Vita's has begun to quirk. Maybe cause I have it in my backpack with no cover. I also accidentally hit it into one of my shelves today so now it got a tiny little cut at the side.

I got the PSP a few days after the US launch with Tony Hawk and NFS Underground Rivals. I was blown away by the machine, I had never owned an iPod at the time. The out-of-the-gate support and marketing blitz is worlds beyond what the Vita has. Less than a year in and we already had a complete GTA game in our pockets.
