What is the best control scheme to use for MotorStorm in your guys opinion?
Definitely the one that goes left/right according to your cars position. The other one is waaaay to imprecise for the task later in the game.
Edit: Top of the page bamboomKABOOM.
Motorstorm RC - $4,99
Awesome game if you have a few friends playing it, and even without. You wont find more content on any other Vita game for less bucks. Basically endless replayability and loads of fun if you are into highscoring games. I cant recommend any game higher than this, especially considering the price/fun/size ratio.
Sound Shapes - (Edit, ah sorry, its $15. Still worth it though) (discounted for half the price until next tuesday!)
Unfortunately, a bit short on original dev content (but has a great community!). If you like music and like to dabble with sound tidbits and level creators, this game is a must have.
Sine Mora - $9,99
Really well done shmup with slight framerate issues at certain points. Very challenging and tons of content through a challenge mode and leaderboards. Very enjoyable time system as well (you lose time when being hit, not life). Oh and its gorgeous.
Surge - $3,29
Super addicting and fun puzzle game. The puzzle system is basically a match-type game, but feels pretty original due to the way they setup the mechanics. Lots of potential for a full blown game later, since this is a bit missing content atm and has only one mode. For $3,29, its an awesome and highly original time waster however.
Uncharted Fight for Fortune - $4,99
Its a card game tying in to the main game, which nets you powered up cards ingame. However, even without that, its an enjoyable card game with a surprisingly deep card combat. No story mode, but battling through the enemies and unlocking the ingame cards will take you about 30 hours.
No Heroes Allowed - $9,99
Overlooked gem. Its a PSP game, but the graphics look pixel perfect on Vita and it might as well be a native resolution game. Its a dungeon environment simulator basically. You set up monsters in the dungeon by providing nutrients and balancing a monster food chain to make sure the best and strongest monsters survive to fight the intruders. Very original and highly recommendable.
Urban Trial Freestyle - $9,99
If you like the Trials based gameplay, but Trials might have been a tad too unforgiving, this game is a great alternative. Its not as hard, and has some framerate issues here or there, but loads of fun. The leaderboard integration of single challenges throughout a level (Make the highest jump, etc) was a genius idea and adds a lot to the replayability for highscores, considering its unfortunately a bit low on content (Finished the game in 5-8 hours, havent yet 100% it though since some challenges are pretty hard still) . Good looking game that was very fun however.
Pure Chess - $7,99
Obviously only recommendable if you like chess, and probably only if you have someone on your friends list to play with. This game was amazing to get some chess games right before going to bed. Havent played chess in ages and this game reignited my passion for the game (although I was missing some moves lately, sorry guys!). Looks really pretty, and although it has sometimes some slight framerate issues (really slight), its a very enjoyable and pretty game. As I said, all depends on how much you like chess of course.
Hustle Kings - $8,99
Fantastic billard game with a surprising amount of depth and possibilities ingame. Lots of modes and stuff to unlock as well. The controls take some getting used to, but once it clicks, its the best billards game I've played so far and definitely one of the better games on Vita. If you have even a slight appreciation of billards, grab this game.
