Nope. I liked Mens Room Mayhem. One of the better score attack games on Vita, and certainly the best £1 I've spent on a Vita game. I'm struggling to think of another Vita game I've got for that cheap, but the point still stands. It's fun.

personally i do. i think these games will only be up for a year, and new ones will go up in the fall. not sure if theyll be announced at GC though.

i can see them putting up LBP, PSASBR, and something else.

Not at Gamescom. They'll announce it in October most likely and the actual change will happen in November. I'm expecting Littlebigplanet and something else. Maybe Sly 4 or PS All Stars.

nothing really - sony made a facebook post about how Gamescom is going to be about PS4 lineup...overreacting ensues...Mortimer reassures us with hints and inclinations.

GAF always melts down and goes insane over the tiniest things. Sony says they'll have a focus on PS4 at Gamescom. GAF hears Sony hates the Vita and plan on releasing no games for it ever again. It's better to just shrug off the overreactions.

IMO the only solid vita showing was the NGP unveiling. Otherwise it's been pitiful.


I don't expect anything amazing at gamescom. There are a few ports I heard about months ago that are still unannounced so hopefully they haven't been canceled and they will be there. I haven't heard a peep about any new IPs or other big games though. That doesn't mean they don't exist... what I don't know could fill the atlantic ocean - but if there was something huge I would think there would be a whiff of it, somewhere.


The redesign is happening in 2014 as far as I know and I dont expect it to be talked about during gamescom (why would they? could hamper sales over the fall). I do expect a price drop. I also expect the 64gb card to get announced and each card to slide down one slot (with the 4gb being discontinued) so memory prices will be heading towards reasonable. The 64gb card, i was told at e3, depends on them getting rid of stock of older cards though (im guessing primarily the 4gb? It wasn't clarified) so that is a bit more up in the air.


If I had to guess I would bet it will be price drop, killzone, tearaway, hohokum, a few unannounced indies, a few unannounced ports, and hopefully maybe please internet jesus atleast a tease at another big first party game.

This is just depressing. I know this is a place for positivity and I don't want to pull a Toto but I will really regret buying this system if they don't give some big new titles to be excited about.

Not sure they were officially announced, but they certainly had a ratings leak. Hopefully they're available soon.

That makes it sound like Sony just put some kind of press release on Facebook officially announcing a clear PS4 focus at Gamescom. Which isn't actually what happened. Rather it was included as part of the flavor text of their Gamescom competition, was probably written by some social media grunt support the narrative that this Gamescom would be a rare generation transitioning event, and ultimately means nothing.

If Sony wanted to make a clear, official announcement as to what we should expect from Gamescom - they would do so through the many channels available to them. Not hide it in the body of less visible pages.

We all know Bend's next title is on VITA and beside they have always been a handheld developer. Their previous work has been on PSP so it is not surprising to see them developing for VITA.

Uncharted or Syphon Filter seems likely. Not sure Sony would give the Syphon Filter IP another go, so probably another Uncharted.

I'd love if they surprised us and it was a The Last of Us spin-off though, but I really doubt that would happen.

After playing Hotline Miami so long on PC I absolutely cannot play it on Vita. I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one Dave. The controls are just so awkward to me. I can't aim for shit with the analog stick. It gets super frustrating when I know I should just log off the Vita and go to my PC to play.

KB/M is the only way I can play this game. Ah, well least it was only 10 bucks.

Wasn't this green lit for localization and then supposedly cancelled. It can't be a port, we can still consider it a new game for VITA/PSP in West.
