Yeah, I was hovering nearby escorting and I saw that thing auger in. I was expecting to have to drop down and recover the flag, but you managed to pull through. Crazy stuff.

Why is there always a jeep nearby when you have the flag.. One time in badlands I think it was you.... I was in a jeep and you had just taken our flag.. So I drove up to you.. and I got out of the jeep.. And started shooting the flames at you... And then you jumped in my jeep and took off...
I was SOoo fricking pissed at myself .. i was like WTF did I do that for?

4x4's serve no purpose in this game but to be a pain in my rectum... They are fast.. Nothing can lock onto it.. It takes 2 fricking Tank shots to kill it.. it takes tonnes of skill or alot of time (me) to kill one with a warhawk... Just a huge pain...
and I'm on GAFe not that it matters though.. Since the Clan system is broken..

I dived onto an SCEA ranked server just so I could hide in a Warhawk for the 4 minutes I need to get the Warhawk Recruiting ribbon - anyway; the teamkilling and whining and hollering constantly on the mics was awful, way worse than I remember Resistance being.
The racist thing - being from the EU I've never heard it before, so I'm not certain, but is it like anti-arab or something? Totally new to me, and not good, up until tonight SCEA servers have been OK generally.

Couple weeks into the beta, everyone was wise to jeeps near the flag so 100% of the time they'd been moved by the time you get there. At that point, us attackers switch from diving in and speeding out, to getting a TAW, detonating that in the centre of the base, a cluster bomb, dropping that over the whole base, and letting a fully charged lightening strike off by the flag, then landing - all within about 20 seconds.
By that stage, all the mines have detonated, everybody in the vicinity has been vaporised, and you've got to leg it to the next little base to get a jeep.
Gotta be careful at that stage, a lot of mine peeps get fed up, one minute they are intricately laying some mines and the next, they've blown up in their face
Mines effectively increase the blast radius of a bomb or TAW attacks by... tons, it can work to the opponents advantage.You guys should have had more peeps in the turrets though, on all maps but Eucadia. On Eucadia there is a specific point on the ground I can hit the a TAW that will take out both turrets and all the mines near the flag in one go.

fuck me, this is almost worse than the beta
i love the game to death, my favorite ps3 game by far but even with the crashes the beta was more stable
i can't connect to any ranked servers and when i finally connect to a player server, i get about two minutes before a crash
is incog doing anything about this shit?

How do I get the Jabra headset to work in the game? I paired the headset with the PS3 in the accessories menu and input the 4-digit code, and in the headset settings of the PS3 system, it shows the Jabra headset as both the input/output and I can see the mic level moving when I talk. However, whenever I get into the game, I can just hear everyone talking out of the surround sound system and nothing in the headset. I can hear the beep when I try and turn up the volume but... nothing.
Finally found out yesterday that you could actually shoot out mines. I thought I read on here that you couldn't and accepted that as canon.
Also, anyone able to get their headsets working?
I'm gonna try my other headset (that was problematic, but I got it working for Resistance pretty consistently) some other time.
I can hear people over the Jabba, but they can't hear me. I thought maybe it was on mute, but it isn't.

If you get bored and want a laugh, chuck all 4 on the front of a jeep, drive toward the enemy base and jump out at the last last second...
Best way I found to test your mic, (if you're not pressing l3) Invite someone to a private chat, whether they are online or not. Once in the chat window press Triangle, go to audio options and make sure the headset is selected, if it is it will show that something is coming through the headset.
I tried a few times to get into the GAF match but I kept getting the "server is full" message despite it looking like there was space. Sigh.
I spent a fruitless hour in ranked matches trying to get my Bandit 4x4 ribbon, I think i need it to get past Airman. My shitty luck saw the first large ranked TDM match I got in in Destroyed Capitol... that's not a good map for 4x4 kills. :lol I got one but I was just wasting time and hurting my team through not really focusing on any objective. So I jumped in another TDM server and it instantly switched to Archipelago. ;P I did get 3 jeep kills there, but no ribbon. How on earth are you supposed to get multiple 4x4 kills in one round? It's very tough to get one from what I could see, and that's with basically ignoring your team and selfishly pursuing it.

I've notice that since, the only way I can go up a rank is through score, none of my medals are being recorded, I get rank up messages all the time but they never translate, and I know this is the same for many others.
I don't know wtf is up, apparently this happened during the beta but I never noticed. They'd better fix it, and I'd better get that fucking Commander rank, shit, I was lucky as fuck but that's one high rank ^^
