good luck guys!! and yes the party system is horrendous, especially since it takes ages to get to the clan list to see what games everyone is in! It's easier just looking at buddy list grrr.

Had a funky bug while playing CTF in omega factory, there was this psychadelic yellowish mist, the size of the level, going around in circles...lasted the entire game

Imagine a ceiling fan, but turned sideways, covering the entire level in its yellowishness o_O

just hit Captain rank (90,000 points); I think I may be just about done with the game, unless its playing with you guys; playing with random people is getting very annoying, there's hardly any talk or teamwork (but I guess we all already knew that).

Took me a month to get 20,000 points (how I miss the days before the points system changed). So at that pace it would take at least 9 more months of hardcore playing time to get to General...no thanks, I've already gotten my money's worth (probably my most played game ever, even with its faults)

Don't mix Warhawk with lack of sleep. I was out and about taking care of some business when I caught a glimpse of a road cone that was emitting a red light. I kind of winced for a split second and thought "oh shit, land mine!". :p

As an online game, Warhawk seems to have some damn good legs in keeping the interest of a large hardcore group of players. Still hundreds of servers running every day, and the game's almost half a year old. I think we're doing pretty well.

Edit: But yeah, the clan/friend/invite implementation does suck. I'm hoping the upcoming 1.3 patch will help with that. And I can't wait for in game XMB access, whenever that's coming out.

from reading those first thread pages, I finally noticed: wtf happened to Click?
Did he get burnt out faster from playing the beta so much?
I remember him setting up a server and playing with him only in the first month maybe after release.

And I think Click has been MIA for months, he was mentioned a couple times on the Warhawk boards that I saw, and they were wondering what happened to him too.

hehe nope, don't really get a chance to play in the daytime sadly.

On another note, quite curious as to what 1.3 will add, Warhawk is probably the online game I play most since Counter-Strike, but they really need to update a whole buncha stuff.

I was also wondering. I got him on my friends list, but he wasn't on for month and pretty much disappeared from one day to the other.

Okay, turns out FGC already had a GB match scheduled Sunday at that time, so they sent us an updated challenge for 7pm EST. Now that's midnight for europeans, so if that's not going to work let me know and we'll reschedule for next week.

Should have known it was too easy. :(

Okay, I've gotten too many responses from people who would have a problem with the later time, as expected, so I'll go ahead and get that match rescheduled for next Sunday.

On the upside, Damage Control finally got back to me and they want to do a 10vs10 match as well. I'll see if I can get them to commit to our now open Sunday afternoon/evening. :)

Okay, we've got enough people for the new time on Sunday so I've gone ahead and accepted FGC's updated challenge. Would still like to hear from people though (especially carlos :p) so we have a good number of alternates in case some people need to leave early and get some shuteye.

For tomorrow, as I said before, I'm not holding out great hopes that =Q= will actually get their shit together and show. But I figure in either case it would be good if the clan assembled at 3pm, and whether the match happens or not we can either set up a server or invade one and get some good practice in.

And! We have another challenge on gamebattles, this time from clan Soul Wings. It's for Tuesday the 12th, at 6pm EST/11pm GMT. It's only a 4vs4, so our US guys should be able to handle it, although Euro guys would be awesome too. Volunteers?

I'm available for some foreplay/training and would be able to fill in for one hour in case someone is late. It's also possible for me to check back here inbetween rounds and drop-off tag-team style.

if you're going against a good pilot and want to off them, keep a lightning ready and don't use the burst, just machinegun and wail with the zaps= death for most pilots.
