Warhawk is hella fun, but once you get on to the servers with the invincible flying squadrons all tactics and reason are gone. It's just butthurt all night long.

I meant, of course, the squad rushes with tank and helicopter support (warhawk=helicopter).
So... I only just now found out that you can reload in turrets by pressing the d-pad in any direction! Still new things to learn after a year on the market. :lol

Actually there are some rad no-vehicle servers out there that are a good release from being hounded by those VTOL beasts.

All right, it's time for another round of Fill In The Missing Roster Info!
SCROLL TO THE RIGHT TO SEE ALL THE DATA.
Finally got done updating the old GAF clan roster, and this is what I've got. The leftmost column is a number tallying how many pieces of information is missing for each member. Blessed, blessed are those at the top with a 0 on their line, for their information is complete and perfect. Woe to those with a 5, for they are the skulkers in the darkness, withholding vital data from the clan.
For any "?" spots, just PM me the information. I am looking for:
- How many people you can host: To find this out, just log on to Warhawk, go to Create Game, and the game will test your connection. Under Server Options, go down to the Max Players option. The biggest number you can host will be there.
- An email address we can use to contact you about clan business: If you don't wish to submit an email address, that's fine, just tell me so and I'll mark you down as a "No". All email addresses will be kept private within the clan, and only used for emails about matches or clan stuff.
- Your time zone: Let us know where you are in the world so we can coordinate playing times better.
- Your username on gamebattles.com: If you don't have one, that's okay, just let me know that you don't. Registering on GB is optional, but in the event we start up GB activity again, you'll need to register if you want to participate in GB clan matches.
- Your general availability: Just a basic summary of the typical times you're playing Warhawk. If you're completely irregular or always available, just say so.
Now, since I'm tired of trying to drag this information out of people...
NEW RULE: Anyone who wants to join the clan from now on will have to supply all this information up front. Hopefully that will also cut down on the people who just say they want in and go idle forever.
When new people want to join, I cut the people who haven't been active the longest. Although once we lose the last few people who haven't played since the first half of the year, I'll start removing invites that have been sat on for a couple weeks, and then start cutting the people with the least amount of data. So GIVE ME DATA!
I'll be sending out PSN and GAF PMs to everyone with missing info and point them to this post so they'll know to check in.
Oh, and one more thing, I've renamed the clan from "Gaf U" to "NeoGAF Forums". If you want to set up a clan server, you'll need to use the new name. Clan tag is still "GAF". I would have used "GAF" or "NeoGAF" for the name to make it simpler, but those are taken. :/
We've got a very active roster, by far the bulk of our members have been playing within the last couple weeks. If we can start setting up some regular get togethers, we should be able to breathe some new life into this clan.

I think I gave you everything in those PM's Manky. I'll look forward to some clan matches. I'm still without consistent voice chat though. I just feel a little powerless without it. I really need to improve my air game a whole lot too. I'm still rusty as an old nail, keep losing track of targets in the air.

I have family coming over this weekend so I won't be able to sit down and play. However, I can set up a server to run 16 player matches throughout the day on Saturday (I am in the Est). What game types and maps do people want? I will probably set something up for the early afternoon (11a - 3p or 4p) if there is any interest.

Personally, I'm all for a mix of maps and modes. Although Steroyd made a good point to me, not everyone has all the expansions. That's something I'm going to have to add to the clan roster info, once I manage to get the rest.

Will people be able to join if they don't have the correct maps? Or will it just kick people out if they don't have the necessary packs once that map comes into play?
I think I will set it up so that it runs a mix of all boosters for a few hours then runs the standard packs for a few hours. I will post a list of the modes and maps once the server goes live. But if people have specific layouts and gametypes then let me know and I will put them in the rotation.

As for the expansions, I would recommend leaving them out. Last week there were some people who didn't have certain expansions, and I would hate for them to be left out again.

Edit: Cool, looks like we can still switch teams. I was worried people would be stuck on one side since you normally can't switch on a clan restricted server.
Well I had some fun while I was in. Was weird when I joined during Collection. Was only Manky and all the cores had gone missing...then Manky suddenly appeared with them
And Capture the flag was fun...but I felt Manky wasn't really invested in the game. I ended up with 220points
