Yeah, but (no offense) the PS3's wireless is shit, so I fully expect that number to go up once I plug in an ethernet cable.

I would like to announce GAF made me buy Warhawk on PSN, i'm currently using my PS2 Eye-toy as a microphone for communication till, my Jabra headset arrives so I'll be Joining the GAFu resistance soon.

Had a great King of the Hill match last night on one of the SCEA servers. Destroyed Capitol, Zones, 1 zone to fight over. Our team immediately took the only zone in the middle and then it was just a dedicated game of defend the base from there on out. The other team obviously had a lot of new players who didn't quite get it at first, so the first few minutes, they just kept running up the stairs single file to their doom. But then they started to get it and it was cool to watch how they evolved their tactics and steadily increased the pressure on us. We never lost the zone, and the game was essentially a rout for them, but I'm sure they learned something valuable from the experience ;)
 
Anyone ever done this? So I was driving my tank an incredibly long way to the other end of the map and got bored. I see a blue triangle on the other end of the map, its a warhawk in hover mode. The warhawk is so far away I can't even see the plane. So out of boredom I aim 2 cm above the blue triangle and pull the trigger. BOOM HEADSHOT from about 5 miles away. I am sure that guy was like WTF!!!!! :lol

Anyway, good games last night Musashi and Grayman and anyone else I played with.

you can just start a local/lan game and mess around by yourself, give you a chance to really get the hang of flying.

hey, that might have been me, I remember once getting shot down and not seeing anything on the kill camera.
 
Warhawk was awesome. Especially now that many people have the game. The graphics are damn good especially in the warhawk.

The headset is damn good, I can hear others and they can hear me, but you can only talk to those on your team. I used the headset with my phone and it work perfectly and none of my friends could tell the difference in sound quality. I even did a voice chat on the ps3 to test it out, pretty cool.

I am loving the warhawks but also the ground fighting as well. I was picking people off with the missile launcher in one game and i think I pissed off a few people because in the second game they came gunning for me on the ground and that launcher isn't very good at ground targets so i had to jump out and defend myself. That part was excellent since i mined the area and took out 2 guys in a jeep with a mine and grenade. After that i went to higher ground and used the rocket launcher against some warhawks and people trying to invade my base.

The fun ended in the second game when most of my team left or switched sides so there were a ton of blue invading the base. i stayed to the end defending the base. lol.

Just man up and jump into ranked games. On monday my K/D ratio was probably .5. Tuesday it was the same. Yesterday it was probably 1.5. The learning curve is pretty rapid. Of course, I had played the beta for about 4 hours total before the crashing issues made me delete it. Warhawk has a really quick learning curve, and still has alot of new players who are just like you.
 
So how are we going to organize the matches tonight? This thread? It really sucks that there is no way to communicate with your clan while logged into warhawk unless you are on the same team in the same server. They need to implement some type of clan lobby chat room as well as join games as a clan.

They also need to make it so that a player server can choose when to start the game, to make sure each team is full and ready. Instead of just going by players > minimum = game start.
 
Wheee, just played a few matches of CTF, saw one of our GAFe'ers in there. Hope they get the clan invite thing sorted out so we can play, y'know, together. :P

Have any of the other GAF clans made it to full capacity yet?
 
Ok... this server restart that happened early this morning better work, cause I'm stuck in an endless loop of stats never recording and resetting.

Everything I earned from Wednesday never showed up, and everything from last night was also lost (before the restart), and stats were rolled back to literally the first set of games I played 2 days ago!

I wonder if this has (hopefully had) anything to do with me using the Blu-ray version since the first night. Those using PSN copies seem to be having less of an issue. I expect this shit to work properly tonight...

Unholy was having problems last night. He sent out some invites, but then it wouldn't allow anymore, so he canned it & started over, but some of his last last invites wouldn't go through.
I think now were waiting for the system to calm down. Wowhawk was just packed last night, at one point there were like 1079 servers running.
 
What time was the server reset? This morning I had my stats/customizations, and after that last set of games, I checked my profile and they're gone again.

Edit: Oooookay, and they're back. Weird.

I think its random. I have the PSN version. Monday night (or Tuesday morning) it recorded. Wednesday it recorded properly. My 6 hours on Tuesday night, lost in a black hole. Thats ok though, cause my K/D ratio was atrocious on Tuesday.
 
A reset is good in my case, I had like 10 suicides last night in dog fighting matches. Trying to evade missile locks by climbing & cornering cliff walls, when trying to adjust to pro-flight controls is sic.

I had so much fun though!

Sometimes the stats aren't received so you have to hit refresh.

Wait, there's UT3 in November, then MGS4 online around March along with Killzone2 multiplayer around the same time, then you get into GT5 online & Tekken 6 with online!

If you have a women in your life, your best to end your relationship now, buy & blow up doll & play online like crazy!

I literally had tears in my eyes a couple of times, seeing that suicide beside your name is depressing. But OMG is the game fun. I can't wait till this evening, I want more Wowhawk, & I played like 7+ hrs yesterday!
 
I got my first taste of Wowhawk last night and it was awesome. There are a few quirks here and there that I'll have to get used to, but it was good fun. After some connection issues, I spent a good couple of hours blasting Warhawks out of the sky.
 
Haha this game is amazing! And I haven't even played online yet!

I played 4 player split screen with friends yesterday. My moment of glory:

I was in a tank, with both my friends having a warhawk firefight at the other end of the map. I couldn't actually see the warhawks, but I could see their name tags. I shot at one while he was flying horizontally accross the map and actually got him :lol. My friend just WTF'ed me and gave up :lol.
