Did Crunchyroll remove this? Not showing up on the PS3 listing... weird.

It is on their site though.

It's just not showing up on the PS3 app, it's still there. Add it to your queue on the web site and it'll show up on the app.

It does weird things like that sometimes, due to the PS3 app being a festering pile of shit.

It's still there for me, both in queue and in the listings. Someone actually asked about this at the Crunchyroll panel I was at this weekend, about random stuff not showing up. The rep suggested it could be PS3 parental control settings. :\

A few of my friends have had the same issue with other shows. Never had it myself, but adding it to the queue fixed it for them.
That panel answer sounds like an excuse.

Yeah, it's definitely a weird bug unrelated that explanation. The app isn't all that stable either, sometimes just crashes when loading a video.

Yeah, it's not good at all. Like I said:

The crashes are the worst part. Half the time it crashes to the XMB, the other half it locks the system up completely.

I've stopped using it and have been using the Apple TV app. So far so good.

I just wrapped this one up last night.

it was alright. I have a history of clinical depression myself and expected that I would connect with Tomoko on some emotional level. I recognized some of what she went through in myself, but not as much as I expected. I couldn't get over how much of a pathological liar she was, but then I guess when you have SAD, that comes with the territory. Disappointing people is like death to someone with SAD.

Just wondering, but when in the show does she show characteristics of being a pathological liar?

Finished the series today after starting it a couple of days ago. Definitely up there with Welcome to the NHK in terms of top slice of life anime, especially ones that deal with social anxiety and loneliness.

However, compared to NHK, it was unsettling how much I saw (and continue to see) myself in Tomoko. This is also the only series that has truly brought back horrible high school memories vividly.

I honestly feel more depressed about my life after watching this series.

To be honest, much of the reason why I like this is because she's kind of a shitty person. She's awkward and depressed and a social cripple, but she's also pretty shitty. And what makes that all the better is that me and many like me can relate a lot to her and the things she feels or does. And having the ability to laugh at it and through it laugh at the shit we went through is a pretty good way to be okay with the shit that went on in our lives back then. She has her moments where some decency comes through but they aren't often and sometimes people are just like that. Just because you're awkward doesn't mean there's a polished gem waiting under all that.

I guess, but I'm not ready to say that the main character's really shitty since even though she has these judgmental thoughts concerning everyone around her to suppress her overbearing feelings of inferiority, she never acts unkindly towards anyone who is not her brother and actually tries to make them like her, in her awkward as hell way.

Wonder if this series will ever get a second season. I read a comment saying that it wasn't very popular, which is unfortunate.

I don't know, I find the whole package pretty awesome. She comes with a crapload of accessories.

You chose the worst picture to show though. This one is pretty good.

I think this is the reason we are able to laugh at the MC because even though you feel sorry for her anxiety disorder, she also often does not elicit that much sympathy. She is self centered, empty, lazy and lies all the time. Also, to note, other people are either nice to her or at worst indifferent, in a school setting someone like her could easily be ripped to shreds...

I think she'd rather be ripped to shreds than ignored.

Bumping this because I just learned about it, but the OVA (or episode 13) was recently released, for anyone who's interested.

Man ,Tomoko reminds me so much of myself.
It's like seeing myself as an anime girl.
Except my social anxiety isn't as bad.
Not a lot of animes make me feel like this.

Not from what I can see. Would like to know where to legitimately acquire this too, was it released with a volume of the manga or something? I didn't even know an OVA was coming!

Yeah, it was bundled with the special edition 7th volume of the manga in Japan, and like most OVAs it will probably never get officially released in the west.
