The George Michael and Maeby stuff was creepy.

I like the whole Ann? Ann who? Oh, you still dating her? How's that working out for you?

Well I can't do it as funny as Michael, but good stuff!

Except that network executives look at it as, "Arrested Development lost 2 million viewers of the Simpsons [its lead-in]."

Not sure how the ratings work at all but. If the simpsons had 6.1 out of 9 that's 67% and AD has 4.1 out of 6 that's 68%. I've no idea what the ratings mean though.

You're right, you have no idea ;)

The first number is the rating, which is the % of total television households in America that watched (the total being 109.6 million). The second number is the share, which is the % of total television households in America that were watching TV at the time. Then there are other stats for total viewers and then individual demographics.

Each rating point (the "4.1" is ratings point) represents 1% of the total possible viewship, which works out to be a little over a million homes per point. The "6" is the share, meaning the percentage of homes which were watching at that time.

So, Arrested Development lost a little over two million viewers from the show before.

EDIT: Too late...

did anyone else notice that Maeby's rack looked huge in last sunday's episode?

I think she may have gained a little weight and the clothes she's been wearing lately haven't been all that form flattering. Usually in the world of soap operas, it means an actress is pregnant.

I have watched pretty much all of the episodes I'm sure, but can somebody give me a quick listing of all the best Gob-related ones? And if you're really good with memory, a listing of all episodes featuring the Chicken Dance?

If you have the DVD, the first time Gob did the chicken dance was on the first episode of the 3rd dvd...

1.15 maybe? Around there. Sorry :-P

Has anybody noticed that Maeby has bigger breasts than her mom? :lol

Does anybody know which episode has Buster cursing for 15 seconds straight? I want to watch that again :)

It has been mentioned a few times already in this thread, but it's from S1E3, "Bringing up Buster."

Edit: So I was listening to Don and Mike a few seconds ago, and their guest Dick Van Patten dropped a little surprise! Upcoming AD episode spoilers:

He'll be guesting, playing a millionaire the Bluths try to borrow money from. Also, Ben Stiller guests in the same episode!

That had been rumored for a while, but that'd be the first "official" confirmation.

Gob in almost every episode has some good moments.
1-3: Nothing really noteworth, but it has my favorite Gob exchange ever:

(Gob's at Lucille's place playing the piano waking her up):
Gob: Looks like I'm gonna be staying here for a while.
Lucille: Staying here? What, did that Mexican throw you out?
Gob: She's not THAT Mexican... she's MY Mexican... and she's Columbian or something. Anyways, it's over.
Lucille: You have three days.
Gob: Hey, if I can't find a horny immigrant by then, I don't deserve to stay here (starts laughing; Lucille smirks and gives him a loving tap on the shoulder)

You may need to see it, but it's HILARIOUS.

1-4 Key Decisions: A good Gob one; he tries to break out of the prison that his father's imprisoned in as a publicity stunt.
1-6 Visiting Ours: This is the episode that feature's Gob's idea for the Mr. Banana Grabber character.
1-9 Storming the Castle: The first episode to feature one of Gob's magic shows, as he tries to get back into the Alliance.
1-10 Pier Pressure: George Michael is asked by Buster to score some pot for Lucille 2, so he asks Gob for it. Gob tells Michael who decides to teach his son a lesson... it's not really focused on Gob, except that it reveals that he used to work for a stripper agency called the Hot Cops.
1-12 and 1-13, Marta Complex and Beef Consomme: These two deal with Michael's growing infatuation with Marta, and Gob's relationship with her.
1-15 Staff Infection: The first one to feature Gob's chicken dance.
1-18 Missing Kitty: This features another Gob magic show. He had promised on an MTV style channel the year during spring break to make their family yacht disappear, so he attempts to make good on that.
2-4 Afternoon Delight: Probably my favorite Gob, and maybe my favorite episode... Gob, now president of the company tries to exert some power... I just love his obsession with his suits, and his sexual harrasment speech.

Good to hear Stiller's coming on soon... there needs to be a magic-off!

From Episode 1-1:

Michael: So, this is the magic trick, huh?
G.O.B.: “Illusion,” Michael. A “trick” is something a whore does for money... or candy!

:lol
