Also for anyone interested. This is in like, 1.5 hours:

Lol!

I got my copy early. Could be me but I don't really like/get how tapping L1 on stuff like intersection lights doesn't trigger an automatic action, maybe it's an upgrade but so far it's bugging me.

That and the driving is killing me, the cars control terribly.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was utterly fantastic, mind you, but I hope the next game takes some further cues from Watch_Dogs with regard to remote hacking.

Great OP! My copy is somewhere in Southern California. There's really no chance of getting it early, so I'll be playing it tomorrow. Luckily, I have the next couple of days off.

Fantastic OT. One of my favorites of the year!

Got this game for free with a recent SSD purchase. Hopefully the 2 week PC delay makes this less of a mess than Dishonored 2 was at launch...

Im on the fence with this game. I liked the first one but I just couldnt finish it. I probably should just suck it up and get through it. I dont like playing sequels until i finish the original. Although they are probably different enough where 2 has nothing to do with 1.

Narrative-wise they're completely seperate. There are vague references to the "Chicago-incident" or the "Chicago-based Dedsec" or whatever, but that's pretty much it so far.

Except, you know, a certain turd of a character returning.

Edit: for the record: I meant T-Bone.

Is there a list of the full soundtrack anywhere? I've checked the Wiki, but that seems like it's missing songs. Also, any sort of Spotify integration in the game?

Loved the first game and can't wait for this one. Hope the multiplayer stuff is all worked out before it releases or shortly after. That was my favorite part of the first one.

Bummed that the PC version is behind the others in release date, hopefully it ends up being rock solid this time around.

Man anyone else intensely curious as to what incentives they offered Mr. Robot to play the game live on twitch? The game definitely cribs a lot from the show, although lets be fair the show cribs a lot from other sources as well - as the How Was it Made podcast noted, the main group in the movie Gamer was named Society and wore masks.

Hopefully a clueless gamer episode is spawned with this game too

I'm presuming this is a spoiler?

Subbed.

First game was incredible, damn the haters, and I expect this one will be even better. I am disappointed with some of the decisions they made with the Season Pass, but whatever.

Thanks for the spoiler.

...........................spoiler that shit!

Everyone keeps saying the driving is terrible. Is it markedly worse than the original, or did everyone think it sucked in that also?

I read the description blurb of the OT. What's non-linear about this game?
You can play a lot of the story missions out of order, apparently. They demonstrated it in the E3 footage. If somebody who actually has the game confirms or denies this—or a review does—I'll revise that or not accordingly.

Driving is pretty bad, I'm not sure much is changed from the first game.

However, everything else is much, much better than the first. Really enjoying the game.

So I have some extra PSN credit, but I hear the game has performance issues on the base PS4. Some say it's severe, others not as much.

How bad is it?

Driving is a lot better in this and perfectly fine unless you go out of your way to choose a vehicle that handles like crap.

Performance issues were mostly down to bugged online impacting the framerate. Ubisoft disabled online for now for that reason.

Hah, I was looking at the editions and thought "where's the Mr Robot edition loll amirite etc".

Enjoyed the first game and saw a lot of potential for the series, and this could honestly land at just the right time to resonate with people in the same way GTA does but... y'know... more hackey and stuff.
