"Ninja Gay-den"
That's not mispronunciation. That's regional dialect. They, like myself, would also say Maygabyte and Scrambled Aygs."May-ga Man" I have heard a few times.

About Ubisoft as OOH-bee-soft instead of YOU-bi-soft:
Do you all realize this is a French company? Do you realize that for some godawful reason, they mispronounce their own name? Because in French, Ubisoft would NEVER be pronounced YOU-bee-soft, but instead OOH-bee-soft.
That's why it drives me nuts when they use you-bee-soft and "A Ubisoft Production" when my mind screams it should be "An Ubisoft Production".
In fact, it would be pronounced OOH-bi-soft in ANY Romance language, and maybe even German. Only English is "YOU". Drives me nuts.
Could we at least get some background info, instead of just saying random-ass names.
Game name etc.

I hate when Jin is pronounced gene. I don't care if it's correct. "Gene' is not cool.
Hard mode: don't mention Metroid. Apparently people thought it was Phenandra Drifts on GAF a while back... it's Phendrana. Phendrana.

Please go use this to listen to how each language pronounces Mario. Even the English guy on it says it how it's supposed to be, probably because he's clearly from England.
I see N Americans on here ripping on "Merry-Oh" but (and all regional vowel pronunciation differences aside) that's closer to how it's supposed to be than this "Marr-ee-oh" business.

You're not helping your cause. Every single one sounds like Marr-ee-oh. If there was an E in the name, it would be Merry-o. Since there is not, the a retains the same sound as in car.
