I feel like we're doing the wrong thing by letting darryl 'scumhunt' his way through active contributers in D1.
I sound like a broken record, I say this in every game, but on day one going after the active posters is a mistake. They can slip up at any point in the game because they talk and talk. It's why I won't vote Flux, it's why I won't vote Darryl. These players are benefitting the discussion currently, and that's okay.
The only way I would buck the trend is if I read serious scum from someone's reaction, or if it's clear the person leading the hunt has actual information (ie from a PR). I thought this was perhaps the case with Darryl vs Flux, but the fact he has so quickly changed his tune over to me has made me believe this is all on his hunch, and nothing more. I would have voted Ando because I read scum from his decision to essentially force a do or die gambit between Darryl and Flux on day fucking one. It was a nonsense play.
There are people here who have been essentially dead weight, that are getting by without much suspicion thrown. Instead we're picking off at people that are trying to get things going, prodding and discussing issues as they arise instead of hiding behind no posts.
MattyG, StarSketch, LollipopDave, QuestionBro, Rolanderson have less than ten posts so far.
ultron, Time, Topo, Septimus, Xamtheking have less than 20 posts.
I'd say Time, Topo and ultron have contributed enough to at least not attract bare suspicion, but that's seven remaining that have coasted by doing very little, without any sort of appropriate pressure because we're too busy attacking each other at the top.
That is shit.
VOTE: MattyG
thoughts, top town/scum, feelings on the Darryl vs Flux/me/ultron, whatever. Come on.
