Why aren't these games on 3DS? Gimme.
But that the series worst mc
Long, thoughtful OP.
I would love P5 to have
- Catherine+ graphics
- older characters
- no more random dungeons
--thoughtfully designed, challenging dungeons
- fewer anime tropes and anime ridiculousness (dial down from P4, P3 was acceptable level but straddling the line hard)
- more integrated and dynamic social links
- male or female MC
- multiple real endings
- a postgame
But that the series worst mc
Not hard to explain really.
Japanese folks don't hold that same nostalgia for college that they do for high school. For a lot of people here, college is just a thing you go to for huge lectures. From what I gather from co-workers and friends etc, the best time of their young life was back during HS. Most folks don't live in dorms, they either commute from home or live in an apartment somewhere in the city, so you don't have those dorm antics either.
Having gone to college here for a year, I can attest to the fact that it's all pretty "meh." You make friends in clubs (if you're in any), but making friends in class is a rare sort of thing, and you have to be one hell of a go-getter in order to do it. With the majority of courses being huge lectures, there's never much time to talk to your peers unless you make the time.
High school settings are easy, and they appeal to a wide audience. College? Not so much, as odd as that may seem.

The college setting has been brought up countless times, and while yes, if the Japanese college system was a lot like the western one, I'd completely agree. But as it stands, it's not quite the same experience we're all used to.
While we've all grown up, the target market is still high school and high school nostalgia. I strongly doubt they'd move away from that. It's strongly tied to the theme of the series, and while P2 broke away from that, I think that's the exception rather than the norm. If they were to go older, I think they'd go for mid 20's to early 30's (ala catherine), but I still think they'll remain in high school for the time being. It's just what their game is about, particularly now. It'd be like saying "Bully" should be set in an office setting: It wouldn't make any sense.
Nope. Most powerful, most badass, and most popular.
As long as the game is being made in Japan, a college setting is not happening.
Ryouga summed it up nice in a recent anime thread.
I just remembered something else I want: Other characters within the party to have relationships. It's really weird that everyone goes after the MC and anyone who doesn't get him/her just settles for being alone.
Nonsense. He's miles more interesting that the pierced boy, and he has a better design than Maya and Tatsuya.
For the same reason that SMT isn't on PS3/Vita.
Yep. Haven't played P1, but I'm currently playing P2: Innocent Sin and dungeon crawling was not better pre-P3 either.
I want the game to have more areas to explore but if anything they will probably scale it down. I loved just running around the different areas and finding random events in the game world.
I really liked the music and design motif in Persona 4, I would like them to expand on that but it will probably be something completely different.
I hate his emo look. Pierced Boy has no character but he doesn't have traits I dislike at least.
I was thinking more varies party members too, maybe like, two young kids, three high school aged kids (including mc) two people in college, two adults, and an old man.
LOL at people still dreaming for college setting btw, What so special with college anyway, ask for working environment or something.
Yu Narukami is more popular.Nope. Most powerful, most badass, and most popular.
Just fucking announce it already.

I hate the MC of P3. He is perfect at everything, I find that really annoying.
