What game announcement would make you go nuts? Your dream game?

A new splinter cell game that genuinely innovates the game and the gameplay. A lot of people tend to complain if it did come back it would be open world, but I think if it is done right it could genuinely be a lot of fun. MG5 was a decent open world stealth game but it lacked large bases to infiltrate (like in Ground Zeroes), focusing on a smaller map with 9-10 "levels" would give a lot more opportunities for fun gameplay and alternative entry exit points

I want a new Mechwarrior with a massive studio push, the likes of which made mw2 revolutionary for its time with the old Activision. Have it make use of VR, advanced movement peripherals, and all the latest tech. Make it feel like you are actually in the hands of a 100 ton city smashing mech beast.

Snatcher HD port or remaster of any kind. I would recognize the music from the first notes and would lose it.

After that, start the next trailer like it's just another game. This one not sure what it is but it has really nice graphics. Might or might not notice a bottle of sunscreen in the game as some new but familiar music is playing. It's snowing and you can see the Kremlin off in the distance. Yeah I would put it together by then and lose my shit Snatcher 2 in Moscow.

Showing Aya Brea would do the trick too. Possibly Duke Nukem if it was actually a good effort. Starting a trailer with Hell March would also cause me to go nuts.

Basically anything that would cause nostalgia glands to discharge.

A new Infamous that goes back to its roots or a remastered Colection.

Second Som was an awesome tech demo, but it just didn't have the charm and the fun factor of the older games. I also missed grinding power line and throwing cars. I also feel like 1 fully fleshed out power is better than a bunch of meh powers.

Panzer dragoon saga remake, shining force 3 complete (frankly I would just take upscaled emulations of these 2), new real shining force
Just wanna say, I came here specifically to say that a new SF/remake of SF3 would prob make me cry happy tears. Thought for sure I would be the only one saying it but then I see the 4th post is a request for exactly that. Have you played the translated versions of scenario 2 and 3 on emulators?

Anything related to The Legacy of Kain series. A reboot, a remake or a sequel. Anything.
Also Paradox unfucking the development of Bloodlines 2.

I'm actually floored by the variety and obscurity of the dream games you folks are posting and I absolutely love it. For me it's Shining Force, and I can't think of anything else that compares for me.

Elden Ring is my dream game but that's already a thing.

Brute Force 2!

I kid i kid(but I would want that)

I sure did

Project Awakening looking and playing as good as it was in the reveal with at least 50 different monsters in the bestiary. Focused on single player.

A 3d zelda that is not messing around with the plot or trying to mass appeal with open world / cutesy bs.

Paper mario 3 rpg with partners. Conker 2 lead by Seavor. Banjo 3hee with a budget.

Killzone 4 that's trying to be Killzone 2 but better.

Sega Saturn's Greatest Hits (will never happen)

Xenogears Remake (will also never happen)

Bloodborne Prequel (at least elden ring is lookin good)

Final Fantasy Tactics 2 (please be good...)

I'm ready for new shit that's not regurgitated.

I'm not waiting for any remakes nor sequels anymore. Surprise me.

I'd love to pick up my phone one morning and see news of a highly sophisticated break in at Eidos Montreal, executed in a brutally efficient manner. When the dust settled, it became clear that - aside from damage and ruin - the Deus Ex and Thief IP's had been stolen.

Fast forward three years and *shock horror* Arcane Studios announce the imminent launch of a rebooted Thief, a true successor to Deadly Shadows. Minutes later, another announcement! IO Interactive will be following up and finishing Deus Ex Mankind Divided because Square Enix are too FUCKING GREEDY to finish what they started.

There, that's what I want, and I made myself angry writing it. I mean, they're two fantastic IP's so just do everyone a favour and pass them on to a studio who can make something of them. The lack of care for Thief is absolutely criminal.

Something plausible: Infamous 3 (as in a direct sequel to the 2nd one with the original protagonist)

Something less plausible : A new motorstorm in the vein of the first pacific rift (but I would be happy with a remake / heavy remaster of the first)

Something not plausible : Take the witcher 3, add a splash of Ghost of tsushima and FFVII remaster combat, and make it the most ambitious naruto game ever lol

Phantasy Star Online episode I and II remake. Small lobbies and no subscription or microtransactions (just the price of the game).

Never gonna happen, I know.

San Francisco Rush + Hydro Thunder remastered collection.

Sega Model 3 collection.

Half Life 3 is probably the only game that could get me excited. I just replayed the first two games and all the expansions after getting a new PC, and damn, are they still phenomenal all these years later. Half Life 2 was especially a masterclass in design.

Otherwise a Warcraft RTS with new ideas and so forth... but that is probably not going to happen. Or any of the core Blizzard franchises as a massive singleplayer RPG. I've been wanting that to happen for a while.

I'd get a rock hard dick if Creative Assembly announced Medieval 3: Total War.

I'd get a semi if they announced a remaster for Med 2

The Last Ninja 4
by Bluepoint and System 3
Demon's Souls Remake action, open world/level exploration, add some cool boss fights and more hidden stuff, big budget.

Spyro 4 in the same way that we got Crash 4, although not as overtuned.

We were about to get it, too. Then Activision ruined everything, as they always do.

A rebooted Splatterhouse that's less exaggerated, more serious, and gruesome
An Alien Isolation sequel
An Alien Vs Predator sequel
A rebooted Golden Axe
A rebooted Quake
A rebooted Unreal Tournament
A Jedi Knight sequel
A Blood sequel
System Shock 3
Half-Life 3
Twisted Metal Black 2
Team Fortress 3
Nosgoth 2

I could go on....

Enslaved Odyssey to the West sequel.

If they could get Ninja Theory, Andy Serkis, and Alex Garland back it would be incredible.

A heavily inspired pre-T2A Ultima Online style MMORPG game by Richard Garriott, Raph Koster, and Starr Long.

1. Next-gen WipeOut

2. Next-gen Ridge Racer or Sega Rally

3. Next-gen Syndicate (although The Ascent, looks very promissing)

Bonus: next-gen DUNE !!!

Borderlands 2 with all the quality of life upgrades that Borderlands 3 introduced.

ESO but completely remade with a brand new modern engine. I love elder scrolls stuff but ESO seems so dated with bad combat.
