you really think white people are genetically superior in real life? I wouldn't say that out loud.
Superman is real and he is my friend.

Agreed.Premise is incredibly intriguing and really looking forward to the commentary this book will undoubtedly have.
Is this super hero cosplay then?
Black History Month already off to a good start.what is this bullshit? doesn't this just endorse segregation? I mean we couldn't do it the other way around so why should this be made? Not that double standards aren't expected at this point.
It's a common theme for superpowered people to be feared and hated without good reason.

It still endorses segregation and double standards imo, but hey I'm also with Morgan Freeman on Black History Month:

I would think the point of the project is to address the issue, not support it.It still endorses segregation and double standards imo, but hey I'm also with Morgan Freeman on Black History Month:

Obama would have thrown his birth certificate off his chest that wrapped up the GOP for a matter of seconds.

I'm kinda shocked Brian Bendis isn't writing this.
How the shit does a comic book marketed towards a specific demographic encourage segregation.
Is Static Shock, as a character, encouraging segregation? Is Black Panther encouraging segregation?
Just because it doesn't put the white folx in the starring role doesn't mean it encourages segregation. Jesus christ. Not to mention that this has a ton of potential for interesting themes and ideas.

How are you still here? You do nothing but post ignorant shit, and don't listen when people tell you why it's ignorant.

Comics that target the white male demographic = The last 50+ years of the comicbook industry. If blacks ask for better representation and more characters, or a black character takes up the mantle of a white character, they're told to make their own comics instead.
Which leads to...
Comics that target the black demographic = Supporting segregation and double standards, and whataboutisms.

I'm not an American I don't feel like I owe black people anything because many white people are racist. For me everyone is equal and nothing justifies double standards.

Yeah, and what about mixed race people? Is the one drop rule in effect for superpowers?Well when do they get their superpowers? Because lol at ever being enslaved by non-powered individuals.

There are villains throughout comics that have no superpowers at all, right?Well, if only black people have superpowers, then only black people could be supervillains.
We'd be feared even more than we are now. Not good.
Which double standard are you even talking about?
May my boy Dwayne McDuffie rest in peace. God bless that man.Man you dudes must have hated Milestone
Preach, etc. It's not a double standard though. There are tons of fictional worlds that focus on white characters. Even a previous comic imprint that focused on minority characters, Milestone, had plenty of white characters. It just had the bulk of titles and teams starring black characters.
If having a series of stories that focuses on one race is segregation then every book store is damn near the Jim Crow south.

make a show where white people are genetically superior (e.g. they have super powers, black people do not) and it's racist.

The only thing that upsets me about those covers is the phrase "First Issue Collector's Item".Man you dudes must have hated Milestone
What is the double standard? You are completely missing the point of the comic,. Others have explained it yet it's like talking to a brick wall. You don't want to engage in a discussion you just want to spew out your bull shit in thread after thread.
Then you post a clip from KING OF THE NEGROS Morgan Freemanto try and support your crap arguments because if one Black person said it, it must go for all black people.
So 95% of superhero media?
wtf are you saying? I just said I have the same opinion on the matter, not that it must go for all black people.
Ah, the allegation of a double standard - the refuge of a mind with no concept of context.I'm not an American I don't feel like I owe black people anything because many white people are racist. For me everyone is equal and nothing justifies double standards.
name one show where race defines if you have powers or not.
And yet... you have such strong opinions on Black History Month in America.I'm not an American I don't feel like I owe black people anything because many white people are racist. For me everyone is equal and nothing justifies double standards.
Somehow I don't believe you.you really think white people are genetically superior in real life? I wouldn't say that out loud.
