What mouse do you use?

Bought the G602 today, Best Buy had it on sale for $60 down from $80. I haven't used it for very long, but so far I'm really impressed with the responsiveness:

Feels nice in the hand, smooth glide, and the bottom row of buttons are easy to "rock" with your thumb. I probably won't ever use the top row for much of anything, to be honest. The only thing I'd change about the design is maybe adding a small lip on the left hand side for a pinky rest, to match the thumb rest on the right. I like that you can flick the middle switch from "performance" to "endurance" mode to extend battery life whenever you're just browsing or doing daily work (it drops the polling rate to 125 from the performance mode's 500). It also works with just one AA if you prefer a lighter mouse (it's by no means heavy, though). I also like that it's not littered with flashing or pulsing lights, just the normal indicators for dpi switching and switching modes. It uses a dedicated nano receiver, not the unifying ones Logitech normally puts in the box. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Thanks for the impressions, btw, Amazon and Newegg have this mouse at $50 today, you should go and get it pricematched at Best Buy and get $10 back :D My G700 is working fine for the most part atm but at $50 I'm so tempted to get this

MX Revolution, G700, and Sensei Raw

I use all of them daily (on the same PC). MX Rev for away from PC comfy TV/movies watching, G700 for general use and casual gaming, Sensei for competitive.

im using deathadder 3.5g right now, used MX revolution before but lost that bluetooth receiver.. :(, now its sitting in my drawer

oh well, very happy with my deathadder right now..

So my G600 arrived today.

This will certainly take some getting used to. My brain keeps thinking the ring-click is the right-click, and I can't seem to press any of the side buttons without clicking it.

I'm not sure if that speaks very well of Monoprice or very poorly of Razer. Both maybe?

Definitely both, Mr Matrim Cauthon. Boutique PC gaming parts makers always overprice and have hefty margins, and Monoprice has pretty slim margins but gets away with it for not much R&D or advertising spending, it's mostly word of mouth. They also tend to ape a lot of designs, I think Energy speakers (Klipsh) sued them for making near clones of their sets.

I would say MX518 but I loved that mouse to death. So now I decided to try something new and have the Corsair M65 and it's great.

Razer deathadder 2013. It's dope. At first I was dubious, hella expensive for something so simple... But oh lord it's comfy! And accurate as hell

Currently I use this:

I don't know if this the right thread but I'm looking for a nice and reliable wireless mouse which doesn't cost an arm/hand and a leg. any suggestions?

This is what I use, the CM Storm Spawn. No complaints, it's comfortable and has more than enough buttons for what I need it to do.

Previously I was using a Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX. It was a good mouse but after all those batteries I decided I'd go with wired for my desktop. I'd probably still be using it, but the left mouse button no longer works reliably, and that's kind of a big problem.

this bastard is over 13 years old and still works. MS Intellimouse

This is what I use right now (an older version without the silver buttons). While I like it, I am hankering for something "flashier" with a good build as well.

Any suggestions for a large handed claw gripper?

Ha, I had the exact same problem when I got a G600. The problem just disappeared without me noticing after a short while (I'd completely forgotten it happened until reading your post just now). Paying attention to how I hold the mouse now, I note that I've adjusted to using my pinky finger as the anchor in opposition to the thumb, where I guess I was using my ring finger initially.

The original Logitech G5 (2 tone copper).

Cant bring myself to buy a new mouse because it's that good. I have a G500 and Deathadder in the house but they aren't as good imo.

Redragon Perdition 16400 DPI MMO Mouse
18 Programmable Buttons, Weight Tuning Cartridge, 5 memory profiles, 12 Side Buttons, Power Button, Breathing Light, Omron Micro Switches

Its an amazing mouse; I assigned my 12 side bottoms to different commands in sketch-up (saves so much time).

Its discounted from 70 pound to 30 on amazon. Totally worth it.

Much love to all you folk using a G5. Still use my original single thumb button G5

Benn thinking about replacing it, but not sure with. May just go G500s. What's everyones opinion on the G502, 602 and 700?

Don't replace, just keep living the dream with the best mouse ever made!

Another recommendation for the G602. Love it!

It's the only mouse my strange OCD will allow because the mouse wheel is just a solid smooth piece of rubbery-plastic material. No grooves where it gets gross with my dead skin cells and grime.

Got this one for more than a year now and I'm quite happy with it. Fits good in my palm, has the buttons at the right position, weight is just right, DPI settings are great for me.

A wireless.... Whatever this is.

I don't need much to be satisfied with every day computer usage, and my gaming doesn't require the highest precision. That and we've had the thing for at least four years, so changing it seems like a foreign idea.

I have had a G9, G9X, MX518, and a CM Storm Spawn as gaming mice in the past but non of them lasted more than 1-2 years. I either get scroll wheel problems or the wire shorts out. I move my mouse around pretty quickly since I use a low sensitivity combined with a low DPI and I think that wears the wires out. Oh well.

I also have a Corsair M90 as a backup mouse since I go through mice so quickly, I almost forgot about that. It's pretty inaccurate (at least with my mouse pad) but those macro buttons are pretty damn awesome.

I use Razer Naga Hex.

I don't game with it at all, it's particular useful for shortcut to Pause/Next or Previous track, as well as also having a back and forward button for web browsing.

The ergonomics aren't too bad, I like having a smooth surface over the rubbery surface on DeathAdder.

I have a Steel Series Sensei but I find it to just be ok, nothing special. I have to say that the software for it is absolute trash though. Crashed so much and froze up while making adjustments (even on several pc's) that I don't even bother using their software anymore. I also don't think the wheel on it is very good.

Razer Taipan.

It's okay, I would get something else if I felt like spending the money. The middle mouse button click is actually broken, so I use that top DPI adjuster button instead (through the Razer drivers, since I don't adjust DPI on the fly), and I find I like the placement of that much better than clicking the wheel, anyway.
