is it me, or does it seem like all eyes are on Nintendo this year?
It's kind of interesting how much casual oriented Nintendo's last two conferences were, but we have good reason to believe this year will be different.
It's like bizarro world E3, where Sony and Microsoft focus soley on casual games and have a slow, boring conference (assuming on Sony), while Nintendo is pushing the games and hardware.

However, with MS basically saying "You're important, but not all that important anymore" to their core fanbase, and Sony looking to do exactly what Nintendo did in 2006, it certainly seems that Nintendo is poised the best this year to wow gamers.

I wouldn't call it hate. It's just that the game somehow lacked the "heart" other installments have, probably due to the lifeless script.

It seems the only way a zelda can have heart is if the character has huge eyes and acts like a kitty cat.

I still have suspicions though, that the player will control the sword as a seperate character outside of Link. It may be possible to use the nunchuk/analog to control Link, solving puzzles and whatnot. The Wiimote would be the "sword fairy" or sword in battle, where a person could B target and swing for 1:1...Keeping Link protected.
I imagine Link swinging his sword on his own with 1:1 would still work in third person...but for some reason I think it would be akward, and if they want to appeal to the masses they won't go first person either. I just keep thinking about how WSR looked/worked, to keep it from being too ridiculous, Miis didn't have arms, just hands. Link needs his arms lol, and with that "left hand/right hand" divide among players...well this could solve that...
