What's up with people that think jeans are uncomfortable?

Regular fit jeans are comfortable, but some people feel the need to wear skinny jeans that smash your scrotum up into your body. I imagine that is quite uncomfortable

As a skinny jeans wearer, I never understood this perception. They're pretty accommodating to one's balls.

Wait, you go commando in jeans?

But..package against zipper..

Happens about once or twice a year so it's very rare. When it happens it's usually when I am first getting dressed in the morning, and generally its a little bit of testicle skin (which are shaved anyway) and so there's pretty minimal damage.

Honestly I think pushing my penis out of the underwear's hole and then through an open zipper is more likely to get my dick messed up by zipper teeth. That whole process is really awkward to me. When I used to wear boxers I would actually sew the trap door shut. Now I don't bother with underwear and don't even try to.

Sure when they don't fit right.

Or when it's durig a heat wave and it's just too hot and my balls are soaked like a jungle.

But normally? No, jeans are very comfortable.

I find it much harder and more expensive to find a comfortable pair of jeans that fits well than a pair of pants, dress or not. Good jeans are 100$ +, good pants can be easily found under 50$. Also, I need to wash my jeans after 3 wears max or they start to smell like a hobo. Therefore, I can't enjoy the benefits.

Prefer the cotton duck fabric in carhartts personally.

Never really have owned a good pair though due to fatass but maybe I will soon.

take me to your leader

Jeans are a bit uncomfortable to me. Women's jeans tend to cling to the legs which restricts the movement in the knees/hips a bit. Looser/baggier pants are better for comfort in my mind. To be honest I'd rather just not have to wear clothes, period.

Was going to say the same thing. Haven't had a comfortable pair of jeans since puberty when my hips and ass got bigger. If I get a pair that isn't too tight, the waist it too damned loose. Skinny midsection + big ass sucks for jeans.

I have a couple pairs of jeans that are pretty comfy (high spandex/elastane content), but the moment I get home those babies are coming off and I'm lounging around in boxers/pajama bottoms. And yeah, I definitely need a belt because the waist is too damn big.

It's hardly the sexiest item of clothing (according to others), but I love wearing fatigues. Probably the comfiest style of pants known to man.

I only wear jeans unless the occasion calls for something else. Nothing is as comfortable.

When I die, bury me in jeans and a T-shirt. Suits are uncomfortable as hell.

I'm a guy and I can vouch for that as well. I have a big ass that forces me to buy jeans an extra two inches wider on the waist just to compensate for it. Here is an example since I know everyone is dying to see:

I thought I was the only one...

I only stopped because my girlfriend was uncomfortable when I wore jeans to bed.
I sleep in jeans as yall know. They are really comfortable to me all the time. Im not a big person though so they are loose fit.
Could you two...elaborate, perhaps? In terms of a reason why, when it started, and so on.

I had the same problem until I found a model that fit my body (which in my case was Levi's 506 in size 32/32). I had been wearing oversized pants all my life up until that point, but it was amazing to find something that fit and consequently flattered one's figure.

I ended up buying the jeans in that photo. They are Joe's Denim, which I am not familiar with, but they fit better than most of my other jeans that are way too baggy to wear with any semi-form fitting shirt.

I used to wear jeans all the time, but at some point I started wearing khakis more.

Jeans might go with everything, but khakis are way more comfortable in my opinion. Just can't wear jeans much anymore.

I always wore long pajama pants and hated shorts when I slept as a kid. I joined Boy Scouts and ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag fully clothed and just got completely used to it and comfortable. I guess from there I am just so used to constantly wearing jeans it doesnt even bother me.

Sleeping with jeans on is one of those things i try as hard as i can to keep as luxurious an experience as possible, deserved only after a well spent, tiring night filled with alcohol and unchecked deviancy.

Waking up with the jeans still on is a magical experience that shouldn't be spoiled by making it an every night affair.

I interchange between jeans and tracksuit bottoms daily and the latter are infinitely more comfortable. Jeans are great for going out but in terms of chilling at home they're not the most comfortable things in the world. As for skinny jeans I have three or four pairs of those and they are the most uncomfortable things in the universe.

That said if you have the frame for it they can make you pretty good on a night out.

I agree

I love jeans and find they can be pretty comfortable depending on how much stretch there is in the fabric. Also whether they're high-rise or not. They will never be as comfortable as wearing any sort of bottom meant for lounging, and that would be my go-to choice at home. In bed I'll usually just wear my boyshorts with a comfy tee.

Jeans are alright, I'm fairly active so wearing jeans makes me feel very constrained. I still wear them most of the time just not at home. BTW the only time I sleep in jeans, is when I pass out because reasons.

Edit: The way I see it if some of you feel "comfortable" in jeans, you either wear nothing but jeans or wear them too loose & have no trendy fashion style.

I pretty much only wear very skinny jeans, but the jeans I wear have a lot of stretch, so that helps in the comfort factor.

I hate pants in general, shorts or bust. At the same time though I've asked girls to attempt to find me something i look good in, they all started with jeans... and by the end of the day they all said the same thing "You look fine in your Cargo's and Hawaiin shirt..."

I wear jeans all the time all year round.

Jean lover here. I find that after I wash them, they feel terrible, tight and uncomfortable, but after a couple of hours of wear and movement and such, then they feel great.

I'm an all year round jean wearer. It's like the only pants I wear besides the odd shorts in the summer. I have a couple nice pairs that feel like silk when I wear them. They're damn comfortable.

Also I feel you can wear jeans for a lot longer without washing them compared to other clothes. I just do a quick smell check because if I can't smell anything on the part where my ass has been closest to then they're fine.

I'm not a big fan of long pants. When I'm not wearing shorts my legs feel really hot and constrained, and folding my legs in jeans makes me feel awful.

It's even worse on a hot day.
