Wheel World (PS5, PC, Xbox) Review: Charming Open World Bicycle Racing Game Review

I'm worried about performance after the demo and launch trailer running horribly.

She says it runs well in that IDoIG review but it looks like it's stuttering with bad frametimes. It looks like a Unity engine game, which are known for running like shit with no explanation and framerate/frametime graph showing a flat line.

Anyone played on PS5 yet and can let me know if it runs well or not?

From what I've read the ps5 has screen tearing, xsx runs smoothly

Hopefully ps5 version gets a patch

FWIW this game is VERY short. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, I might try to knock this out in between games.

Game's super cozy, really enjoyed the first bit I played last night. OST stands out as well, and is available to download on streaming. Seems awesome so far. Hipster bicycle RPG / racer.

Cheers pal. Is it pretty egregious? A tiny bit at the top occasionally is better than constant stuttering I suppose, I wonder if the extra power of the Pro fixes it.

Link me the comments/reviews you've read if you dont mind, rather than me ask you 20 questions.

I figured it was short, its only like 13 quid, that suits me greatly, I want a tiny game to casually enjoy.

Haven't tried the game yet but I went to the other forum for impressions since they have an active thread

Check the OT there for info

Any evidence that a PS5 patch is being worked on? I'd buy this if I knew it would at least lock to 30fps with decent input lag and ultra sharp IQ or good IQ while locked to 60fps, both without tearing. I just want a consistent experience that doesn't constantly distract me since its a racing game where input variance is the death of it.

Reddit is telling me the "developers" (Messhof himself?) have acknowledged the performance/IQ problems and are patching the PS5 version but I can't find such a post despite googling, I'm not active on Twitter so I find it hard to find these random replies to people complaining about the issues.
