I die a little more inside every time I see this thread. Man PS4 versions of: Arc the Lad, Wild Arms, Legand of Dragoon, Dark Cloud, etc would be amazing....

Outside of FF. And Pokémon. And Dragon Quest. And Kingdom Hearts. Lots of other series that while not mega-blockbusters like those still pulled in respectable figures too.

Because jrpg series has become to the videogame industry like space opera tv shows ( star trek, battlestar, farscape, firefly, stargate, ...) have become for the tv industry, non existant and people nowadays dont care for it anymore (this means they wont spend their money on this genre anymore unless its named Final Fantasy and even that doesnt sell as good anymore as in the old days.
Here is a list of Sony owned IPs theyve basically done nothing with since PS3 release or earlier (tried delteting ones that have had game in the last 5 years)...and totally should lend to some indies to make PSN games...also...HOLY SHIT SONY OWNS SKYGUNNERS?! PUT THAT SHIT ON PSN ASPAP...this list probably contains some recent games I just haven heard of, but you get the idea
