Who cares what Canada thinks. That place is a wannabe Milwaukee.

More and more americans show themselves to be as idiotic and arrogant as Ann! Good job! The world is very justified in hating americans. Some of you people really are clueless with your ''greater than everyone else'' attitude.

I'm sorry if I insult anyone, but with Bush's reelection and the current state of politics, USA should be proud that they exist in the same continent as Canada not the other way around. Canada is a peaceful country which respects its citizens and doesn't put the corporations and the rich above everything else. The arrogance of that bi**h makes me furious.

It makes me sick that the only reason bush was re-elected was due to rigging with diebold voting machines where they swapped the vote on the fly... 82% registered democrats? lets swap the vote! 80% vote for bush in a small country. This happened all over america. Exit polls were never wrong in any election that didnt have diebold machines. EXPLAIN that republicans! Bush didn't win. Only very few people know this though. What a farce of an election process and democrats know they can do little due to media being controlled mostly by rich republicans. What a country indeed.

I don't understand how that silly joke was lost on people. What could possibly be more of a 'greater than thou' attitude than "My country hates you guys!", "Americans, we are justified in our hate of you because X celebrity said such!" I understand that American politics are in the shitter right now, but hey it happens. We have this thing called an election where the winner is determined by who tells people more of what they want to hear, and because of that sometimes the bad guy will win. It's happened in Canada, it's happened everywhere. It'll continue to happen until God himself chooses the worlds leaders.

I don't see what you're getting at considering the fact that dipshits like Coulter and Carlson aren't considered to be on the lunatic fringe of American politics. They're pretty damn close to mainstream.

Plus I do not understand at all how the fact that America elected Bush as president means that Canadians or anybody else can't vocally dislike the fool.

I didn't say anything about disliking Bush. Hate him all you want, I hate him too. I also hate when all americans are painted with the same brush. I dont care if idiots like Coulter or Carlsons opinions are seemingly mainstream (obviously they all aren't), the broad american bashing still gets old. For crying out loud, look at how up in arms some candians got over one dopey comment.

Both Carslon and Coulter had tons of vicious things to say in that vid and only one that could be considered 'dopey' was the dog sledding bit because it was so damn stupid.

Edit: define what you mean by seemingly mainstream. Coulter craps out books at the rate of more than one a year and they all go best seller and Carlson is considered a spokesperson for one half of the country .

Edit: Like I said eariler the Canadian "I hate americans" refrain should be modified to "I hate red americans", would that satisfy you? Because then we're in agreement.

Protip dude, don't make dopey comments about a group of people in a thread that was started precisely because said group of people are angry at a ton of insults thrown at them. It's kinda difficult to tell 'who cares what Canadians think' from 'they're lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent as us' y'know?

well, nothing sells quite like controversy. Farenheit 9/11 was immensely popular as well, but in no way does that indicate that Moore's opinions are shared by all of those who view his works.

I'm fairly certain more people buy books in tune with their own opinion when it comes to a specific political author than that of movies. I'm guessing more Republicans saw Farenheit 9/11 than those who bought Al Franken's latest.

Moore's books are bestsellers as well, same goes for Franken. Being popular doesn't mean the world agrees with everything you say.

What also find EXTREMELLY idiotic ignorant and stupid is when she says that USA's shield will protect Canada from attacks and that they should be thankful for that. Why the hell you redneck suspicious evil b***h anyone would want to attack Canada? She's so stupid that she thinks that everyone has USA's goverment attitude and attack countries for fun. On the contrary, Canada is in danger because they're USA's neibour and a possible nuclear attack inside USA's territory could hurt them too, when they have nothing to do with USA's wargames. I seriously need a tranquilizer to calm down and I've only seen the video twice.

But Moore and Franken aren't racists scumbags.

Don't even start comparing them. They are political extremists, I'd agree, but not flaming assclowns.

Then again, what's an extremist? The definition of extremists varies from person to person.

I'm not too aware of Moore's and Franken's views. What about them are "extremist"?
